When I became an Atheist I didn't just join their group I begun to become their leader. I can find a way to get something from people.

How do you lead ?

Yes I have a small group of followers. About ten people. We call ourselves The Fallen or The Fallen Angels. I use force, wit, character, understanding and what not. I usually focus on their weaknesses. I lead them in life influnce their beliefs and pretty much run them.

Yep, from that statement, your friend may just have a leg to stand on. I'm guessing you're a fairly young guy maybe? I'm often looked to as a leader amongst my friends, but I'd certainly never refer to any of them as "my followers"...

What you're describing almost sounds like a cult....which can lead down some dangerous territory.

There's an old saying, Absolute power corrupts...absolutely. Please keep this adage in mind, and don't ask your friends to do anything you wouldn't want to be asked to do.

Yes I see what I said is wrong and I talked to everyone today. Seems we're going to still be friends and we're going to do our own things in life. Be our own leaders and respect one another.

Thanks for the comment. As well as my other comment I had a long thought over and decided to disband the group. Hopefully the name was catchy. But it was wrong to do this.

You are young and impressionable. Nothing wrong with being young, most certainly. However leadership in this world is more than just leading people in the manner you are or were doing on your opening post.

Leadership is not taking advantage of the weakness of others. Leadership is getting people/others to better themselves when they don't think they can do it. Real leadership is bringing out the best in others and showing/helping them to do so.

If you have ever worked in an environment where you are responsible for the safety of others, where you can be killed or maimed for life if you make a mistake, or kill and maim others for life..you will know the difference in discipline and leadership. As you mature it will become instinctive. Leadership is a tremendous responsibility and one in which the perks and power do not exceed the responsibilities. Leadership is often a heavy burden and the power if not properly used can cut you back or come back on you like a two edged sword or knife.

A leader is a person under discipline..not wildlife seeking to justify themselves and their greatness...ie..self promotion.

If you understand this of which I am saying..you can clearly see part of the problem with public education and also the leadership turned out by public education today...ie politicians. Remember ..public education is financed and paid for by the body politic. Connect the dots here.

By your later posts it is good to see that you are mature sufficiently to see that there was something wrong with your approach and or values/thinking. If you recognize this you know more than many peoples ..even those later in ages than yourself. Congratulations on this realization. I hope it will stick with you and take you far.

Well imo your thread in the ats side about psychic ability maybe ruining you career choice kind of is where you should look for your answers.

You have almost described what your friend said of you from your own view without realising it.

With your friends words in mind go read your thread and you may see what he sees.

This isnt a dig at you my friend, sometimes its just easier to see from another angle. Most folks including myself are guilty of cloudy perspective towards themselves, hell i wish my mates would tell me stuff when they felt i should know. He sounds like he cares mate or he wouldnt have bothered.

And i can tell you good friends like he sounds are rare!!

Anyway..... back to my foggy mirror
