Hmm, not sure what to make of this. Family gets their newborn seized, apparently because he is involved with oathkeepers.

oathkeepers.org...

So oathkeepers is now a militia? Just like 9/11 truthers are terrorists? Just like Obama is a Christian and natural born citizen?

Right.

I can't watch the video, and I didn't see the story on the link to their website.

I know plenty of Oathkeepers that are active military and law enforcement. There is no way they let this happen for that reason alone. There has to be more to the story.

You definitely need to see the video- for the audio really, not the video. It is a telephone call with the guy. I provided the link to oathkeepers just so people would know what it is. The story is not at link.

Here's pretty much the story:

He claims after his kid was born, Child Protection Service (not the organization he names, but the same idea) came and took her away. Claims the nurses took the kid under false pretenses to give to these agents.

Says they put a security guard outside their room to "follow his every move"

He claims the affidavit they gave him stated it was because he is with a "militia" group the oath keepers.

To me, it doesn't sound like the whole story.

Oh, oops, I was about to reply to this post thinking that these were the promise Keepers. I hate those guys. These guys seem great.

I don't actually believe the story as told at all -- it seems false and impossible. However, I'm willing to suspend disbelief until more specific information is available, because if this happened without any mitigating circumstances, it's among the most dangerous things ever. However, I am positive that there must be mitigating circumstances.

He gave his fiancee's full name so that people could contact them at her facebook page. I can't pick up how her last is spelled; her first is "Stephanie." Can any of you get it?

no no, go ahead brother, get MAD. REAL MAD. I have a hunch this story is true. It is not surprising in the least that they would try to allege his ties with oathkeepers constitute an improper place for the child to grow up, and consequently convinced HHS to seek a court order to seize the child- and got it.

They are making examples out of people one by one to discourage any participation in any kind of group that does its thinking with its head instead of its wallet.

I find it insanely hard to believe that "they" would openly equate being an Oath Keeper to anything bad so far as to take away someones child.

Take away someone's child that isn't involved in a group of people who know how to get things done and the media will hear about it if it was unjust.

Take away a Promise Keepers child under false pretenses...there is no way "They" could win.

Trust me right now I'm seething, literally had to take a few to calm down untill details can be ascertained. I checked on the mothers fb,sent a friend request,no response yet. Same with oathkeepers got a generic email response to my email, no details.

Being a member of the oathkeepers oathkeepers.org... is no reason whatsoever for the state to take someones child, none. I really just cant believe this is true and really, woe be upon them if it is,they better have some damning information on Mr. Irish other than this or they're gonna be in the legal fight of their lives. Patiently awaiting verifiable facts but this could litterally be the straw that broke the camels back if true.

Well thanks for being proactive about it, seriously. I will be curious to hear what you get back... They are going to start taking kids based on activism. We should have seen this coming, for sure.

I wish you would.

2nd line

I can't, but there are no limits to the powers of our federal government, once you are named a threat and make their list, your lives belong to them, and now apparently even your children, especially when born into an environment that is considered dangerous.

Remember Waco?

Homegrown radicals, domestic terrorists, and any other group considered dangerous and on any watch lists should be warned... They will take your kids! ... Makes it easier in the future if they need to raid your homes and shoot the adults without worrying about the collateral damage and possibly having children involved.

Posted this on the other thread, but since its a duplicate, I wanted to post this here.

Government Agents Seize Oath Keeper’s New Born From Hospital
New Hampshire, Wed. Oct. 6th, 2010
Last Night John Irish & Stephanie Janvrin had their new born baby girl taken away by government officials because of their involvement with Oath Keepers, a non violent constitutional organization. According to Irish, The Director of Security and the Head Nurse of the Hospital said “we want the pediatrician to check the baby in the nursery so that you can go home.” The baby was wheeled out in the bassinet under the protest of Irish. Irish followed them out a took note of 3-4 men wearing suits with detective badges as well as 3 police officers.

The Division of Family Child Services proceeded to pat down John and inform the parents they would be taking the daughter. “They Stole our Child” says John Irish. An Affidavit was produced that claimed an affiliation with a militia called Oath Keepers. Irish claims Oath Keepers is a non violent organization. John and Stephanie were able to spend a few minutes with their daughter and were forced to leave. A security officer escorted the two out of the hospital.

The falther of the newborn just posted on the other thread.

My heart goes out to them I so hope a good lawyer steps forward.

I can see no cause for State Kidnapping. This seems like it was done to strike fear into the hearts of men.
Thats playing dirty.

This should be interesting. Definitely a story to follow.

I checked the site:
dprogram.net...

UPDATE: Watchman Noyes I have a copy of the affidavit and I can tell you that it says verbatim these words “The Division became aware and confirmed that Mr. Irish associated with a militia known as “Oath Keepers”, and had purchased several different types of weapons including a rifle, handgun and a taser.” (none of which is illegal, and anyone who has ever been to oathkeepers website knows that they are not a “militia”. I will not post the affidavit as it is still sealed information and I would be violating Mr. Irish’s rights in doing so. If people have questions and they are a part of the media, then I can put them in touch with him. Otherwise for now, this is all the information that we have.

Thanks.

Considering that the oathkeeper's website has the categories and obvious space for such a story, I am not going to say suspicious yet, but curious as to why it's not there. Could be a lot of cross checking going on to verify before they post it. None of us have to commit to a view until there is more info. And even then, you know how that can be.
