yes i can tell you what i know of these pictures.
firstly this is obviously ptolemaic period - the macedonian dynasty. (33rd dynasty) as for exact dates..332 > 30 BC... well alexander the great was the first macedonian king/pharaoh of egypt and cleopatra was the last... so inbetween them,it is from alexandria (lower egypt).
she is either a greek or roman descendant.
this is not a pharaoh or a child of pharaoh.. but maybe a preists/official wife/daughter.

VERY COOL PIC'S and a very interesting topic Egypt,
your friend sounds very lucky to be so close to these
beautiful objects.
I hate that HAWASS bloke I believe these things belong to
all of us and not to just HIM and his cronies.

I agree~that is all of our history.

I actually had an argument at work yesterday with someone over Hawass. A co-worker considers him some protector of Egyptian Antiquities super archaeologist and yes he has protected them BUT he is also keeping stuff and making the finds and information fit to what he wants Egyptian history to be. He also steals finds and ideas that were not his own. I bet he knows a heck of a lot more than he lets on and I would love to know why he doesn't share. If he is that in love with his beloved Egypt and it's history then you would think he would want to share it with the world. I know I would!

I know I am jealous of my friend who has it and he is actually my neighbor but I know him from work and act like I don't him when I see him otherwise I would probably go and see it myself and take pics. When it's in the museum I will take pics for sure. I sit here sometimes and look over towards his building and balcony and KNOW that is sitting in there and I just want to sneak a peek and see it.

Very cool! Thanks. I will look up those eras and look for something similar. My friend has actually asked me if I know anything about it cause he knows I am into Egypt but I have no clue~

I wonder how he was able to get this. I assume because it's for a museum there was some process on owning it. I didn't think anyone could just have this stuff.

He also has some scarabs that are about the size of a half dollar but I haven't seen those yet. I will ask him to bring me a picture of those this week.

I to have a scarab beetle it's blue made of that blue mineral.
I cannot really do or say any more about Isis but I shall try
my best to get more info and deffo get some pics of her.

I owe it to you all.It may take me some time as I shall
have to do all the leg work as the owner has no computer
or digi camera and I only just really got to know him so
I don't want to jump down his throat and demand this and that.
He is retired so not a spring chicken any more so it would be
unfair of me to hassle him without 1st going gently gently.

please bare with me and I promise I will update the thread or start
a fresh one with all the goods, thanks for the contributions and
sorry for the lack of a photo but hang in there folks

stealthy~

did you mean 3.300 yrs old???

that explains alot... look:

that was the new kingdom era, when the hittites/preists controled egypt.
THIS AMULET IS A RELIC FROM THE ORIGINS OF MODERN DAY CHRISTIANITY. the greeks and hittites manipulated this image for their new god after the exodus 100>200 yrs later.
this peice is from just before the exodus...wow
some of the pharaohs names of that period - tuthMOSIS 1,2,3 etc > Amenhotep 1,2.3etc and most importantly akhenaten.

wow this could be sold to the right person for $$$$
the biggest find a westerner can make in egypt are finds from this period (sort of links europeans to the throne)
the best find would be Akhenatens tomb. Akhenaten tried to change the religon of the pharaoh and state. but was destroyed by an army general from thebes>> AY.

This Amulet/relic is

Jeremiah-
The children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough and make cakes of bread for the Queen of Heaven.

Isaiah-
'I will continue forever—
