If you post porn on this site you will get banned.If you post a link to a porn site,or a site containing porn images, you will get banned.That goes for signatures also.

I'm not saying anything that isn't in the terms and conditions of ATS but it seems that some people need it specifically pointed out.

well, i hope i earn enough ATS points to get cabfare home by the time i get banned from here, because i don't care whether i link to a site that has profanity or not. what is "profanity", and what is a human being expressing their hurt feelings or outrage like a human being? i guess anti-libertarians [a.k.a. conservatives] wouldn't care about such things.

whoever is serious about banning people who link to sites with obscene language is a pitifully neurotic individual, afflicted with serious self-image problems. i hope their authoritarian impulses can be balanced with more liberal ones from other moderators.

!! so, there are children visiting here. i have no objection to keeping X-rated materials off ATS, but in my opinion any kids on this site should be reading the same kind of discourse that they'll hearing OFFLINE. THAT is less corrupting in the long run than attempting to shield them from a real-life expression of ideas.

if mommies and daddies want john bull 1 to babysit their kids they should make private arrangements with him. that way, the 14,000 members of ATS can enjoy a free-speech environment and the kids in question will have a few hours of filtered media content.

Judgement calls... the type of "judgement calls" that have grown this site from small group with 200 posts-a-day to a giant community with 2,500 posts a day. The type of "judgement calls" we're experienced with, know when to make them, and always consider the best interest of the entire community. Why is it that when policy is discussed that is designed to help the entire community, someone has to jump at the opportunity to label it "conservative" (among other) thinking? Thats an animated GIF which shows no detail on my welcome screen. It has a woman coming in fram flashing then walking off. You consider that porn? A grainy, animated GIF? That gif is supposed to be funny not porn! No where on the site will you find porn.
