Karzai aide in corruption probe linked to CIA

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/05688bdf827a.jpg[/atsimg]

An aide to Afghan President Hamid Karzai at the center of
a corruption probe is on the CIA payroll. Mohammed Zia Salehi, an
Afghan National Security Council official, appears to have been paid
by the U.S. spy agency for many years,

Salehi was arrested by Afghan police in July but released after Karzai
intervened.

Salehi's relationship with the CIA underscores deep contradictions at
the heart of the Obama administration's policy in Afghanistan

This is quite off topic but just another arrow in the right direction...

A close friend of mine is a Realtor in the Baltimore, MD area. Soon after Hamid Karzai got the lead position of Afghanistan, the friend called me very excited about a possible HUGE commission! She was showing houses to Quayum Karzai, brother of the Afghan President; he was looking to spend $5-8 million and pay cash for the house.

It could be totally normal for an incoming president to gain huge amounts of money like that, just worth noting.

I think the whole Afghan government floats on CIA/Opium money.

They need their own corrupted people in the Afghan government if they want to rob the country of it resources without its citizens interfering.

Sickening as usual...

This is not at all surprising. Of course the Afghan government is infested with CIA assets. Karzai himself used to be a representative for UNOCAL, then conveniently installed by the US after the invasion. I bet if you took the covers off of Karzais government, you would see some pretty damning stuff.

why do these arrests always seem to stop short
of the actual cause of the crime. Karzai's aide
gets caught, Bush's aide Scooter Libby, etc... etc...
why do these guys settle for the little fish when
there are bigger fish to fry? Is it just to
appease the populace with knowing
"oh we got another one, we're doing
our job!!"

No you're not, you're stopping at 3rd base !!!!

Go clean house at the CIA !!!
Go clean house in DC !!!!

these guys make a big stink out of
a drop of rain, when there's a whole
ocean we're drowning in.

yep, but nice job !!!

Here is a video clip
of the puppet Karzai

It just proves that the whole 9/11 thing really stinks, and needs to be re-opened and properly investigated.

Karzai is using "denydenydeny" and "divide and conquer" strategies to refute this story.

The New York Times reported earlier this week that an aide to Afghan President Hamid Karzai that was arrested for corruption was being paid by the CIA. The leader has come out against this statement, calling it a tactic by the U.S. to destabilize his government.

That statement is meant to play into the distrust our people have of each other over petty religious differences.
