How is this even possible? Please can any ATS members who deal with Physiology, Chemistry, Paleontology tell me how this woman started to grow a "horn" out of her head?

This must be the weirdest crap I've ever seen, and apparently it doesn't hurt her. Is this a hoax, or something we just don't have answers for? I'm Baffled!

This story is old, as I remember seeing it years ago.

She can't possibly still be alive!

Ok is it me ...or is the horn bent pointing with a downward arc in the first shot...and it is twisted into and upward arc in the second shot...hich would be e strange since it is a downward camera angle in the second shot.

WTF?!?

it dosnt realy mention too much on the details
whats it made of?
real horn?
is it a oversized boil?
tumour?

It would help to be given more details on the original source

Ah, that ain't nothin'. Take a look at this:

Note that in the first image you posted the horn curves downward, in the second it doesn't.

There is another mole on the opposite side of her forehead ready to sprout another 'horn'

Your link doesn't work. But thanks all for your input. I don't see it being a tumor, never heard of one growing out of the body. I would like to know if it has bone mass / structure. This is why I posted, I 'd like to know what the hell it is! Creeps me out. She may be Hell Boys Grandma

Phage, You stole my teeth and gave it to that frog.... Why would you do that?
Jokes aside, this a weird occurrence. I just want to figure out how this is possible? She's not a demon, but age does weird things to our cells. Anyone got a real scientific explanation for it, and not a theory?

Trust you to break my nads ol friend, but what is the reason? And is this joined to the Skull, which could disprove the findings of "demon skulls" in the past? That's why I'm asking questions

"Exposure to radiation" and she lived at LEAST until age 101??????

You know what? I am really starting to believe, science is nothing but a bunch of pencil-pushing people who wager up nothing but guesses. I'm not saying this can't be true but isn't it safer just to say, cause unknown????

It seems like the Tree Man may suffer from this malady too to some degree.

It's also so odd that most of these extreme deformities seem to occur over there-------------------->
most of the time.

Apparently it is not skeletal at all. More like an out of control mole.

Granted, the "Tree Man" has a condition (and he was operated on). BUT why is this happening / happened to a woman when she hit 100 years old? What brought it about?

Edit to add: Here's the youtube video of him after the op

Read that link I posted.

Zhang’s exposure, though the media, earned her the chance to have her cutaneous horn removed, but the old woman refused. Now, doctors have confirmed the black spot on the right side of her forehead is indeed another horn in the making.

To be honest, i would quite like to have horns. But only if they pointed upwards.

I wouldnt mind having a tail either.
