the other day some friends of mine found a trail of interstate 95 in central fl and being the rednecks they are followed it looking for a mud pit they found a large metal underground structure . they left and gathered up a bunch of us to show us when we got there we were suddenly escorted by 4 millitary police officers has anybody else heard of this and if they are missle silos

hmm, no, florida cant support under ground structures as big as a silo, the dirt is too soft and water is too close to the surface.

thats odd then it was about 3 feet out of the ground and a semi trailer could sit on top it was so large

What area in central Fl are you reffering to? Describe the structure, what makes you think it was a missile silo? If in fact it was- there would have been more than 4 mp's there, so I doubt it was a silo. What branch of the military were the mp's? Did this happen recently?

impossible anywhere in fl. water table is to high. 'nough said right there.

Exactly. Can't do that in Florida. Heck I lived there 15 years and never saw a house with a basement let alone something deep enough for a missile.

Edit: Corrected Spelling Error :-)

volusia county it looked like a large soup can burried only about three feet stuck out it was metal color not polished but dull the top was large enough to fit a semi traler across the mps were in full fatigues with an pp thing around their left arm they were carying i believe to be m-16s and told us to vacate the area imeditly or we would be arrested and this happened on sunday

That doesn't sound like a silo. The ones I have seen on tv are always large concrete slabs with massive doors that slid open. Perhaps there are others but you'd want something stronger than something that looks like just metal.

Couldn't have been metal. As far as I know (which isn't that far
, silos are made from concrete. Besides, I agree with the other posters, Florida water table is way too high to support anything underground.

A friend of mine and I, came across a UFO, plain as day on a military installation in Florida. We were also escorted *somewhat* off the property. Course we all know UFO's are governmental anyway. But it looked just like one of those from War of The Worlds!

Lets see..if it had been a missile silo..it woulda been guarded by AF cops..they woulda been carryin m-4 carbines not m-16 rifles..and u cant just walk up to a missile silo..there would be an enormous fence surrounding the site with resticted area signs every 100 ft. Happen to see a very tall white pole standing straight up into the sky? With a cone on top? Get back to me with those answers...a couple other things..did the Sps drive a vehicle? what kind? and the arm band what was on it..i never heard of pp..if it was indeed a missile silo (which i HIGHLY doubt) then they would have been air force cops called SPs..and we don't wear armbands out in the field..u said there was 4 of them..carryin m-16s..well 4 troops is called a fireteam and a fireteam does not carry all m-16s..the team leader and the assistant would carry m-4s then other two would be the heavy gunners..one would carry a m-203 and the other would carry either a m-60 or a m-240b, depending on what their base has. I'm not saying that you're lying I'm just trying to figure out what you saw. The Questions I just asked you will help me determine who and what was out there.
JOURNEY: u think there would be more than 4 people sitting on the site for no reason?

doubtful, thats what the alarms are for.

I dont know a lot about guns but i know these guns looked like m-16's . a friend who was with us that night told his father what happened who is a contractor for boeing at the cape and he said their is a series of cable for the cape which runs to huston and a few other places like virgina i think he said . His theory is they may have been working on some lines and the metal structure may have been a station kind of like a manhole for this cable i dont know does any one think this is more likely. Oh the mp's arm band said mp i am a crappy typer sorry

No man, you missed my point or I wasn't concise with my words- what I'm saying is if it was a "missile silo" you sure wouldn't be able to drive up to the site- security would be inpenetrable. There would be more than 4 mp's there, that's for sure. Now, if it was abandoned Nike site (or training area, etc.) on a military reservation, that would be a different story.

Security would not just arrive, after you got there- unless it was a site of not too much importance.....they probaly drove in on a training area if my guess is right.

Surely, USAFSF, you can reason with this- with your military background-

Were they really MPs or just dressed like them?

Maybe you stumbled on a meth lab.
