what are bonus points?
I went thru the 1st 12 pages...couldnt find an answer...feel free to delete if this is a dup thread

I think that one usually gets bonus points together with an applause for high quality posts.
Second line.

Well, the points I have received come with an explanation.

Usually along the lines of:

"So-and-So has given you applause for your contribution to "thread title"."

As for the points themselves.

They are used at the "ATS Store"

Check up at the top of the page, in the "navigator" bar click on "Member Tools"

"ATS Store" is listed underneath.

Bonus points are given for threads that the members find interesting and news articles that the staff thinks are worth some praise.

I didn't know, as a member, I had the power to clap via the site!

I thought only people with MOD pants on could pass out the clapper.

Members can't give applause, but they can make the suggestion to people who can. If you go into your Member Center, you'll see an 'ATS Suggestions/Complaints Form.' It looks like this. It's not to taken lightly or overused. If a member sees a particularly insightful/powerful/expressive/intelligent/genius post or thread OP, they can humbly draw the attention of Mods and site owners to it. Applause isn't guaranteed...it's only a suggestion and you'll never know the result. I've used it a few times and have no idea if the member had applause or not. It's bad form to let that person know anything about it imo.

Am I the only one that can't see this "ATS Store" ? Can someone post a link to it or let me know where it is, maybe it got moved since this post was made.
