www.politicsdaily.com...

I went by Sam's Club on my way out there and bought a Flip Cam Ultra HD. I shot 3 short videos and took some stills also. I will open up a Youtube account so I can post them after dinner.

The beach was pretty crowded and the sound side was open for business, along with the gulf near Portafino, no way would I put a toe in though. Amazingly there was a decent crowd in the waters that were open.

Wait...it's officially close but there were people there? I'm a bit confused?

Looking forward to seeing your video and pictures. People need to see this stuff. Good on you that you took the time and effort.

I believe they are closing the actual beaches, and not the entire beach. How they would probably do this would be to put a barrier up and have security escort people off the sands if necessary. I am planning on some better quality videos tomorrow morning, I'll find out if anything changed overnight.

This unfortunately needs to happen and because Florida IS NOT PART of the drill baby people they will rise up and complain viciously because of tourism. My biggest issue is the loop current and not dragging oil into more Florida beaches. Florida will have to go as the sacrificial lamb in order for the message to reach America....

drill baby drill

fine just make sure you have an effective plan when it fails and that's YEARS away i'm afraid.....

They were rolling out the yellow caution tape around 9am. I think they were just blocking off the lower half of the beach.

When the tide comes back in im sure they will have to start over.
