Does Israel Require It's Own Forum?

Hello ATS.

As of late we've had a lot of talk about Israel and the myriad of topics that in one way or another are directly linked to Israel.

Perhaps it's time for ATS to create a forum specifically for Israel?

Thoughts ATS?

We somewhat already did when we created the Middle East Issues forum. The Middle East is a constant hot bed of activity so the forum was created to encompass the entire area.

I would think that forum is sufficient especially when many of the threads are not only about Israel but surrounding relations with neighboring or other MI countries.

Yeah, 2 months ago, I would have agreed, although now it seems Israel will be in the forefront of any news story for the next little while.

It's just cumbersome to see 20 topics in 20 different forums all related to Israel..

Even then, most of the Israel threads are not being placed or moved into the Middle Eastern Issues board.

I have never seen such hate within a website. Most people within these boards speak like hitler. Although, I dislike what israel is doing. You cannot distinguish hate with more hate. I hear people saying that israel needs to burn etc etc. When in fact war solves nothing. Israel is acting like Hitler with the Arabs lately that is not right. Can we do anything about it? No! are you going to be a coward and speak words against an entire populace of human beings?

Love the idea. Maybe even add a feature similar to "omit swine flu"..

"Omit Israel vs. Palestine & Zionism"

Actually, given the amount of threads, it might not be a bad idea, but like Ashely D., said, there is a thread for Middle East topics.

It's sort of like the oils spill threads on ATS, getting way to big, to contain! LOL, I'm punny today!

Once the current news gets old, I'm sure the threads will be moved to the appropriate spot.

I was kind of thinking the same thing.

Also a separate forum for the oil spill stuff would be nice.

$0.02, since we're on the subject.
