Hello all, time for me to get this underway, just a small space set aside for the greatest band ever -

RUSH....will drop in from time to time and add to this.

I know there are a few fans on this site, please post here if you like.
Feel free to express your for Rush not being in the "Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame"....what a joke

A lot of casual fans have come and gone for this band, due mainly to the direction changes throughout their career. This is really what kept me going, they grew with their music, I liked the changes. They are truly *the* Cult band! I liked them from around the age of 10, when album rock radio started playing Tom Sawyer & Limelight...then my cassette collection turned awesome My favorite Rush album is, well.....

Just got tickets for their D/FW concert on 9/26...it'll be the first time for me since 1988.

Any jokesters that post anything Rush Limbaugh related will be dealt with swiftly and harshly

Has anyone seen the movie I Love You, Man? Lots of Rush in it. The main characters play Rush in their garage and Rush even makes a cameo appearance in a concert scene. The movie is hilarious too!

It's about time this thread was started...


My favorite band ever since I first heard Moving Pictures after it came out. I remember Spirit of Radio before that, but it was MP that cemented it.

I've seen them several times, but not lately. I occasionally make Pink Floyd references in my signature..but in honor of this thread and the band, I have changed it to a rush song....

All the talk about 2012 on the boards...I wanna hear about 2112!!!!!

Seeing Alex use his Gibson EDS-1275 dual neck doing this song onstage inspired me to buy one myself. Not Jimmy Page, not Don Felder, but seeing Alex with one in the mid 80's, the first time I saw them on the Power Windows tour i think playing Xanadu with it....

Alex never gets enough credit. He is a much better guitar player than non fans give him credit for. One of my all time favorites.
