Were you trying to make a ridiculous post? The universe is thought to be around 14 billion years old, though the estimate seems to vary as our understanding becomes more complete. The US debt is over 12 trillion. There seems to be many theories on who really runs the country. Obama could be working for the globalists and/or elite, trying to destroy the country. He could also just be an ignorant narcissist whose hubris is blinding the obvious.

My question for your is, how do you go from speaking of the universe, to mentioning our debt, to concluding that Obama is intentionally trying to destroy the country? Where did these leaps come from, and how are they connected in your mind?

US has been racking up debt since the Eisenhauer administration. Blame people, companies, and governments --democrat and republican-- since soon after WWII. Obama makes a convenient target but he's just another link in a long chain.

I am pretty sure the universe is trillions of years old, if not more.

Well, thats my logical theory. It could also be infinitly old and long, if others are right about some things.

Look, yeah, the numbers are big. That doesn't mean anything at all, in and of itself. What is the total economic output of the US? Of the world? What is the current percentage compared to historical percentage of debt? What is the real world effect of the US running a debt? These are all tremendously huge numbers.

Seriously, I understand that the debt is an issue, but you all need to stop yelling 'Armageddon' about everything connected to Obama. The bailout happened under Bush, remember? Economist across the spectrum agreed that serious money needed to be spent to prevent the destruction of which you slander Obama as both wanting and causing. Look at this chart, if you really want to educate yourself:



Another thing to remember, is that this same type of talk happened during the last democratic administration. And you know what, we had surpluses that would have completely eliminated the debt if Bush hadn't actually destroyed everything. So seriously, stop ragging on Obama, he is doing his best to clean up the multitudes of tipped over port-a-potties from the last administration. There is no reason to think he isn't trying to do his best at this dirty thankless job. Obama is trying to move us in the direction of a better future. It's a shame hat Bush squandered the opportunity handed to him, but that's just how it is.
