When I came back it was assumed it would be a joyous moment, like I won the lottery. In reality it was like someone owed me money and did horrible things with it and now they were paying me back a year later. When I came home I wanted to go back.

Id rather go back to Afghanistan tho... its just less gay ;p

Glad your coming home and glad you see the truth of what's going on! We need you here and you might have to pick up that rifle again if things keep going the way there are. I hope not and hope you can spend sometime rebuilding your life and don't be a stranger here. Stay safe in your remaining time.

Don't forget to leave any insanity that you picked up while in combat in a combat zone. Remember, while you come home safe, there those Iraqis who will never get to see the safety that you will, cherish it with all your heart.
