It is a verified fact Obama has a great uncle that liberated a concentration camp in WW2. However the uncle did not liberate Auschwitz as Obama claimed, the uncle helped liberate a different camp, Buchenwald.

Obama either forget the correct camp, and said Auschwitz, the one concentration camp everyone's heard of, or the family story as told to him used the incorrect camp name.

The way the Fox News clip in the OP, and everyone else in the thread accused him of lying, is disingenuous. The implication he fabricated the whole story about being related to a concentration camp liberator because it was memorial day is ridiculous. Give me a break. He mixed up the name of the camp. No reasonable person can call that a lie.

The whole story was a blatant smear attempt by Fox News. Real journalists discovered the truth within days, and now almost 2 years later, we have people repeating stuff out of ignorance because it fits their preconceived notion of Obama. You know the saying, a lie travels farther than the truth.

The OP deserves zero stars. I know the teabagger types eat this story up. Anything that casts Obama in a negative light is good in their eyes, truth be damned. Get some critical thinking skills.
