It was in deep woods when we were out on tour with couple of friends about few kilometers from complex where kids are going with schools on week trips.
We were had some fun, making ''Battle quest'' (don't know how to translate in English, it's an adventure game druing the night and out of the city, when you are on a quest to get from point A to point B, sometimes making somee quests during your journey).
It was around 3 AM, helluva dark in forest, but we illuminated the forest road with candles, each one some 50 meters from each other in case we will lost the track. I have a big interest in paranormals, hanging with lot of ''proffesionals'' if you can call them like that, so we are not practicing any foolish things like with Ouija boards and calling forth the spirits, since the main job of these guys is cleaning places which were messed up by foolish activity of some individuals and teenagers. Something like ghost busters per say.
So to the point. I walked down the path alone and in the middle of the quest where nobody was residing (nearest village was 4 km's far) I stopped and got paralyzed. I had mobile phone, using it as light to not fall from cliff or to some hole. As I was satying at the same place for some seconds, I spotted a tall person, really tall about 3 meters before me. It was going towards me, it wasn't walking but hoovering with no feet visible. It had a long coat and triangle hat, like those from 17th century. Then it stopped two meters from my left and was looking on me. It was the most bizzare thing I ever saw. It didn't had visible lower half of the face, which was hidden behind black scarf. It's skin was grey like if it was decaying corpse with black eyes. I thought it was a vampire exactly. I wasn't able to move, only we were staring on each for I don't know how long, because I wasn't aware of time flow nor I felt any fear or anything else. Then it hoovered behind me on the road and after paralysis fell down, I turned back and it wasn't there anymore. Later after few meters on the road, I encountered one of the girls from our group. She was laying on the ground, sobbing and telling me that she wasn't able to move, that she was fine, but some time before I came, she fell uneasines all of a sudden and fell down on the road.
Two of my friends and other people who were in the forest confirmed, that there was strange person and that some of them heard weird squeeks and noizes or saw something moving fast from on side of the road to another in the woods. They thought at first that it was wild swine or some of us making fun of those who were on the quest with us. It was really strange. I didn't found any stories about this place at all, except that it was one of the sites of Dead walks at the end of the second world war, where the remaining German soldiers were escorting prisoners and Jews from dead camps where lot of them died in the process. But that doesn't explain old clothes of that figure I saw.
I always tought that lot of creatures is only in US, but I see, that we have a man with the hat probably in share
but i would suggest you and your friends stay away from that if it really didn't look human at all...
