Please Explain These UFO's broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK

I can only do that tomorrow as i don't have time but hopefully someone can get a close up pic of it to see a bit better what it is exactly.

Trust me, when you see my videos which i'm posting on youtube just now...you will see that it aint a bird... the shadows are exactly the same direction as the trees etc, these are outside of the helicopter and move far too irregular to be a bird

But to me it shows it's a bird still.

If you look closely you can see the wing is aiming down in midflight.

Are you talking about that giant black thing that looks like a giant fly or something?

It looks like a "speeded up" low res picture of a helicopter at a lower level.

Or, should I be looking at something else?

No No, I didn't say it was a bird ... my post somehow got put in the middle of someone elses post and it looks like the 'edit to add' was mine ... no idea how that happened


I'm not saying I know what it is but I agree with you that it definately isn't a bird.

The shape and movement is all wrong.

The only 'down to earth' explanation I can think of that might be a possibility, is that the artifact is something to do with the camera ... only because it seems to be in a similar place in the frame on both clips.

If this can be ruled out I think you may have something ... it certainly moves in a strange way ... and the fact that it does show a shadow would tend to rule out the 'down to earth' explanation mentioned in the previous paragraph.

This is actually quite exciting ... I hope someone who knows how to do a bit of photo analysis comes forward to help out.

Well spotted OP!!

Very interesting video. I am still trying to work out the size of the object when matched with the size of the shadow. Very difficult to work out height of the object above the ground.

Doesnt look like a bird to me even though the movements look similiar.

Dunno, I don't see a helicopter here, but the shape and movement looks like a fly. Dunno, I am not an expert on film.

BUT I sure in heck know that is NOT a bird.

Not one of earth, that is.

Alien bird? I leave you to your own devices to figure that mystery out.

I dont understandif it is a fly why there is a shadow cast directly onto the sea...

You know what I think?

I think there has been some sort of frame-rate issue that's occurred either in the original Ch 4 video, or when you've recorded this by pointing your cell phone camera at the TV screen & downloaded it.

I think that's what is causing this bizarre effect.

I think that’s a helicopter at a lower altitude that has been filmed with low resolution & “sped up” by this error.

It looks fake to me.First of all the "shadow" is the same distance to the ground all the time so that would mean its not going up or down and even if the "whatever" was traveling at a constant altitude the ground anomalies would change that paradigm.So it something fixed. With the camera moving to create that eratic maneuvering.

I can assure you it has nothing to do with my phone, you can check channel 4 website and see that it is on the original film...

You really need to visit the website to view the original footage...

If you press "play" and "pause" very quickly on the second video to slow down the frames, you can see that at 4 seconds it looks like its disappeaing into the ocean

I tried to view the Ch 4 video, as per my earlier post.

It won't let me view it "from my area".

I also didn't say there was anything wrong with your phone camera....I said it could be a video issue

So, that's presently my guess.....it's a helicopter that's been "sped up"

I'll keep reviewing your thread to see if my "helicopter hypothesis" hangs together!
