Did Anyone Else Notice This?

I am not trying to be dramatic, or use any fear mongering tactics or anything else. I simply noticed this last night while watching the State of The Union on NBC.

Before it actually started, they were doing the pre-SoTU show and I noticed the interesting symbol they were using. The Capitol Building, with a giant red star in the background. I was commenting to my gf that it kinda resembled a storm trooper. (which was just imagination and humor) but what really caught my eye... was the giant red star.

I decided to look it up. I was already certain of the answer I knew I would find. But here is some of what I found:

Red Star

The five-pointed red star, a pentagram without the inner pentagon, is a symbol of communism as well as broader socialism in general.

I am only posting that because it was highly interesting. Maybe I'm completely off on this. Maybe not.

Apparently they have been using this in their background for a few years. I looked up footage on youtube about the SoTU.

At 00:12 seconds into the video, the image pops up.

This is the SoTU from 2007.




Here is the pic I was talking about. This is from 2005.


Surely other people must have noticed this. I tried searching on here for related threads, but I didn't find anything. What are your thoughts?

I didnt notice it but since you did , I say thanks for bringing it up because it means something or it would'nt be there. I personally dont have a clue but I hope you find out because now I'm curious too. Great find EagleTalonZ.

Yeah, it certainly caught my attention. I did some more reading and maybe it does mean something:

Communist Symbol

The red star was one of the emblems, symbols, and signals representing the Soviet Union under the rule and guidance of the Communist Party, along with the hammer and sickle. It was also used as a badge in German concentration camps at the time under Hitler and WWII to mark communists.

I always heard they like to post their agenda directly in front of us.

they put their communist symbol right in front of our faces and no one notices but a few... americans should be disgudted by this

Finding older state of the union pics like this takes some effort. I'm trying to track down just how far back it goes. But I agree, this is blatant and disgusting. Even if it isn't meant to be what it strongly resembles, it is in very poor taste.

Well thanks for the explaination ETZ, I never knew what the red star meant. I also have yet to learn what that eye is about in the pyramid on money.
:note to self: add this to what Ive learned since joining ATS.

Now that I am more aware of symbology I am really getting upset with how government agencies are using them and forcing them on the peoples eyes.

Maybe it is all harmless and innocent but maybe it isn't. And only for that reason they should not be used by governments. They can give the wrong idea about their intensions.

I am all for presentation and art but as soon as hidden messages or suggestions that are multi-interpretable are made by official public government offices I find it sickening. This is a serious matter and should be forbidden.

If I were a designer...I would have looked into the "red star" symbolism.

That said... They use a white canvass, for the most part. The American flag has red and white stripes, and white stars on a blue back ground, right?

White stars don't show up on a white background. So maybe in that one picture, they wanted to keep the red/white/blue scheme. Blue circle, red star, white backing.....

Could just be colors and dumb designers not looking stuff up. I have more faith in stupidity these days than blatant "rubbing in faces"...but I guess that could go both ways. ha

That said...haha..it could easily be the proverbial cheese on the mouse trap. haha.

When I first began to hear about the Illuminati, the masons, tri-lateral commission, bilderbergs, etc. I heard a lot about symbolism. About the dollar, the hand shaking, the gestures in public and so forth.

And it is for this reason that I do not feel this red star is a thing of pure coincidence. I think it's intentional. They've been doing it for at least 5 years that I can find and I have never heard of it. So either Americans aren't noticing, they don't care... or I've been on ATS far too long.

Seems like an overt subliminal message to me.

My guess is, people are so lulled and stupid at this point that they don't have to go to great lengths to conceal these things anymore.

Maybe Texaco is the biggest corporate sponsor.
Maybe the red star is the Texaco promotion instead of being interrupted by commercials.

The weird thing about subliminals is their power to one day make people think "It has always been there" or "things have always been this way".
There is some sort of silent hypnosis involved in this tactic.

I guess it's the whole "Boiling frog" scenario. Put the frog in boiling hot water, he'll notice and jump out. But turn the heat up slowly, and the frog allows himself to die due to not noticing.

Guess it's not the first time I've heard of America being compared to a boiling frog.

So basically this goes on and on. The symbolism just keeps going. So far no one has commented and saying I'm off my rocker so I guess I'm thankful. I appreciate your feedback Timewalker. I knew it was deep. I've seen enough videos and been on ATS long enough.

Hopefully more and more people will see this and wake up to what is being shown right before their eyes.

On the picture of the flag it reminds me of the symbol painted on the wings of the aircraft apart from the middle dot is replaced with a red star. Maybe its a new joint emblem? oooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh

I totally understand. It seems like a lot of people didn't notice. For that matter, I consider myself as a person who pays close attention to most things. The problem is I have watched every SoTU for the past several years. And I never noticed it before either.

But Wednesday night, it was just like a slap in the face.

I am a huge UFO nut as well. No worries there. I think I spend far too much time seeking information about aliens. Or maybe that is blasphemy? To suggest too much time can be spent on such a thing.

I hate trying to bump my own thread, but I really feel everyone should take a look at this thread. Until someone can explain a logical reason for the use of a communist symbol in our MSM, I am going to feel this issue is important.

Can everyone please flag this thread so it gets the appropriate attention? I didn't want to make a sensational headline, but I suppose it could have been a little more dramatic than what I titled it.

Has anyone else been able to find any more info on the communist star being used? I seem to have hit a dead end. Aside from them using it during the SoTU. Maybe using it during the SoTU is truly intentional.
