I hate to point this out, But there has never been a civil war in the USA.
If you look at history, the USA invaded the Confederate States of America. States that had succeeded from the USA and formed their own country. Therefore it was not a civil war but a invasion. Because it involved two different country's.

Civil War doesn't necessarilly mean half of the american people battling the other half. According to merriam's dictionary, civil war is a war between two citizen factors of the same country, which from what I am understanding from this article is going to be the american people against the corporations of america!

It's a given fact that our gov't is in bed with wallstreet, the bankers, and the elitists! What's happening here is the elitists don't want to be fully exposed, for if they are, their global plans will be in grave danger of being set back another 100 years!

The powers that be are going to pit us americans against each other, thus making us blame our fellow man instead of the ones who are really responsible for what's happening right now. Here is a good point as to what I am referring to.

Here where I live, a major meat packing house that slaughtered beef was broken into and all the meat that was processed that day was stolen. A neighbor of a woman who works with my wife told her that someone stole all her neighbors canned foods they had prepared from their garden last year and the culprit is yet to be found!

Grocery stores instead of liquor stores are being robbed now here where I live cause we all know you can't eat brandy or wine! Point is, people won't go hungry, and that's how the elite are going to engage us with hyperinflation! Can you imagine paying $10.00 bucks for a gallon of milk?

$4.00 bucks for a loaf of bread? $8.00 or $9.00 dollars, heck maybe more for a gallon of gas? Just recently here where I live, milk was $4.50 a gallon, and now has come down to $3.58 as of two weeks ago! And I live in a farming community!!!!

Now picture the coming hyperinflation with all the number of americans who are outta work? Compile that figure with the fact that 26 states are in the red financially due to high unemployment and are running outta money? Are you seeing the bigger picture now?

Then as of last week, comgress extended unemployment benefits another 14 weeks! Where;s that money gonna come from to the 26 states who are already outta money?

We as a society are being pitted against each other, not out of any real discontent with each other, but out of the fact that we are going to be more focused on surviving any which way we can! And if that means killing, robbing, etc, it will happen!

And don't think it can't or won't happen where any of you folks live, for I thought the same thing, and boy did I get fooled!

Going from that post before me, I took what the OP meant like this:

Civil War will arise with a Revolution. TPTB are incredibly powerful and manipulative; if you are on this site and don't believe that statement, well why are you here?

They can create the delusional belief in peoples minds that the revolution is evil. And a civil war will come.

Well, when Obama Bin Lyin declares martial law, and you have the US Marines armed with machine guns manning suburban road blocks ..........

You can tell yourself that it is really you against the wall street bankers and the filthy rich.
The Marine that smashes in the side of your head with a rifle butt, is really a short fat balding wall street stick broker in military disguise.

No, it will be Joe and Jane public against the US military, police, and FEMA.

And that is either tyranny if you choose not to fight, and a REVOLUTION if you do.

And who ever heard of a non violent war.
That is just silly.

Americans have a choice. They can allow their government to bully and threaten them into conforming to their view of reality like Winston Smith or they can go down swinging like Cool Hand Luke and Randall McMurphy.

I'll take door number 3: leave. There are many places on earth where people can go about their daily routines and live long happy lives.. some of them even allow adults to be adults..use "drugs" and solicit kissing companies.

I agree with a previous poster, haves Vs have nots... it will be literal 'rage against the machine', unwashed masses storming the gates and castles of political royalty to vent anger and frustration. I can see angry mobs occupying, trashing and probably burning capitol hill / govt buildings.

At the rate things are going, the people will reach critical mass sooner than later imo.. govts come and go, empires crumble..history happens.

I'm rooting for balkinization where the US is disarmed, the GOP & DNC flock are banished to political obscurity and sent off to fornicate alone in shame for ruining the nation, and states are broken up into locally governed pieces where political partys are illegal. So Cal could become a peaceful thriving self sufficient amsterdam in the sun.. no federal goons enforcing laws, collecting taxes for aggressive wars, no federal reserve, and opinions from people who dont live here wont make it into law.

Oh yea, and none of this bully BS either:
"I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class thug for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street......"

It would not be a "Civil War. Let's check definitions, shall we?

civil war:
1. A war between factions or regions of the same country.
2. A state of hostility or conflict between elements within an organization: "The broadcaster is in the midst of a civil war that has brought it to the brink of a complete management overhaul" (Bill Powell).
3. Civil War The war in the United States between the Union and the Confederacy from 1861 to 1865. Also called War Between the States.
4. Civil War The war in England between the Parliamentarians and the Royalists from 1642 to 1648.

revolution:
1. an overthrow or repudiation and the thorough replacement of an established government or political system by the people governed.
2. Sociology. a radical and pervasive change in society and the social structure, esp. one made suddenly and often accompanied by violence. Compare social evolution.
3. a sudden, complete or marked change in something: the present revolution in church architecture.
4. a procedure or course, as if in a circuit, back to a starting point.

I believe strongly that there will be a popular Revolution in America, probably within the next year or so.

In Vermont, a revolution to secede has devotees

Vermont is not alone here either. Personally, I think most of the States would like to secede, but up until now they were waiting for a State to go first. Easy to join a Revolution, hard to start one. I think all thinking Americans are sick of Federal Laws oppressing them, they are sick of income tax and the IRS, and they are tired of a private banking industry printing money based on thin air. They are tired of Washington trying again and again to take away their guns.

Autowrench:
The following is going to freak you right out, but things need to be said. I talked about this a year ago in another forum, and was quickly banned for spreading dissent. Well, dissent made this country in the first place, and it was built by treasonous people. So here we are now, basically under Martial Law, and through my research I have found out that we have been under martial law ever since Lincoln declared it in 1861! As you may or may not know, martial law suspends the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Many people are completely aware of this, and some are doing something about it. If the Lessons of History are to hold true, we are headed for another civil war in the U.S. at least, and possibly throughout the West. With the current pre-eminence of capitalist systems, we are now seeing its efforts to extend its power and reach by its seizing control of the various societal (social) systems, and compelling them to conform to its inherent, technological value system. This is what we see occurring in the WTO, and CAFTA, NAFTA, and FTAA in the Western Hemisphere. In order to accomplish this, the capitalist/corporate nexus has had to break down or overwhelm the various value systems of the societies it wishes to control economically. It has done this through propagating cultural relativism, outsourcing labor, dissolution of borders, mobilization of labor, and suppression of representative democracies through undermining their essential, prosperous middle-classes. In order to accomplish this it had to first gain control of the mass media, use selective grants to influence various university systems - often through bought junk-science, and philosophically undermine nation-states in general through its nexus of tax-exempt foundations. Well, it seems to be breaking down.

What are Americans to do? We are really used to being a free people, and we have banned slavery, but if one looks, and I mean really LOOKS, we are, in fact, all slaves. We are also British subjects. We have been sold out to special interests, and most probably the Grey aliens too, and for what? Money and Power, that's what. TPTB have technology that would boggle even the most intelligent mind...cures for all illnesses, interstellar spacecraft, plasma weapons, infra-red satellites that can see into your home at night, and that's just for starters.
**************************************
THE CONSTITUTION of the united States of America
Article. VI.

Clause 2: This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.
************************************
The United States is fast becoming two countries. One side is becoming more socialist with it's ideals of the control of the means and ways of production, the subornation of the individual to the State, and a large and intrusive central government that takes more of our freedoms, our wealth, and property to redistribute to those groups and individuals that the government deems worthy of or to "right" past "wrongs".

The other side is those Americans who still believe in capitalism and personal profit, limited government, and the representative republic that the founding fathers gave us. Socialism and republican self-government, both a political and economic issue, cannot exist in the same place and the same time and sooner or later the issue will have to be decided. Since it appears that neither side will back down the only alternative to a bloody revolution is a peaceful secession of the United States with each side going it's own way. That is what the Confederacy Project is all about.

The United States federal government has violated its Constitution many times. These violations against the sovereignty of the people prove its tyranny.

The time has come for the people of this nation to stand up and demand the reinstitution of the Bill of Rights. If the god-given rights of the people are not restored in a timely manner the people need and are right to take up arms against it.

Today the people are only free during elections and that is not a certainty any longer. The very act of electing your leaders does not make you free. You are free when there are certain inalienable rights that those leaders cannot ever steal from you.

We no longer enjoy such a freedom. The second amendment has been violated as many as 20,000 times [every gun law] in this nation according to some reports. It has been promised by those holding office to be violated many more times.

Now even the first amendment is under fire from everything from Universities with their 'speech codes', to the United Nations. The UN itself is an entirely illegitimate organization, has called for permits and licensing of webpages.

The media, once a watch-dog of the government has become nothing more than a cheerleader. The journalists of today feel threatened by the internet, a tool of communications which they fear bypasses their ability to desiminate information at their leisure.

Freedom has withered to the point where the Constitution is meaningless in the operation of government. The rights of the states has become whatever the federal bureaucracy says.

So yes, a Revolution will most likely happen soon.
