It would not be a "Civil War. Let's check definitions, shall we?
civil war:
1. A war between factions or regions of the same country.
2. A state of hostility or conflict between elements within an organization: "The broadcaster is in the midst of a civil war that has brought it to
the brink of a complete management overhaul" (Bill Powell).
3. Civil War The war in the United States between the Union and the Confederacy from 1861 to 1865. Also called War Between the States.
4. Civil War The war in England between the Parliamentarians and the Royalists from 1642 to 1648.
revolution:
1. an overthrow or repudiation and the thorough replacement of an established government or political system by the people governed.
2. Sociology. a radical and pervasive change in society and the social structure, esp. one made suddenly and often accompanied by violence. Compare
social evolution.
3. a sudden, complete or marked change in something: the present revolution in church architecture.
4. a procedure or course, as if in a circuit, back to a starting point.

I believe strongly that there will be a popular Revolution in America, probably within the next year or so.
In Vermont, a revolution to secede has devotees

Vermont is not alone here either. Personally, I think most of the States would like to secede, but up until now they were waiting for a State to go
first. Easy to join a Revolution, hard to start one. I think all thinking Americans are sick of Federal Laws oppressing them, they are sick of income
tax and the IRS, and they are tired of a private banking industry printing money based on thin air. They are tired of Washington trying again and
again to take away their guns.

Autowrench:
The following is going to freak you right out, but things need to be said. I talked about this a year ago in another forum, and was quickly banned for
spreading dissent. Well, dissent made this country in the first place, and it was built by treasonous people. So here we are now, basically under
Martial Law, and through my research I have found out that we have been under martial law ever since Lincoln declared it in 1861! As you may or
may not know, martial law suspends the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Many people are completely aware of this, and some are doing something
about it. If the Lessons of History are to hold true, we are headed for another civil war in the U.S. at least, and possibly throughout the West. With
the current pre-eminence of capitalist systems, we are now seeing its efforts to extend its power and reach by its seizing control of the various
societal (social) systems, and compelling them to conform to its inherent, technological value system. This is what we see occurring in the WTO, and
CAFTA, NAFTA, and FTAA in the Western Hemisphere. In order to accomplish this, the capitalist/corporate nexus has had to break down or overwhelm the
various value systems of the societies it wishes to control economically. It has done this through propagating cultural relativism, outsourcing labor,
dissolution of borders, mobilization of labor, and suppression of representative democracies through undermining their essential, prosperous
middle-classes. In order to accomplish this it had to first gain control of the mass media, use selective grants to influence various university
systems - often through bought junk-science, and philosophically undermine nation-states in general through its nexus of tax-exempt foundations. Well,
it seems to be breaking down.
What are Americans to do? We are really used to being a free people, and we have banned slavery, but if one looks, and I mean really LOOKS, we are, in
fact, all slaves. We are also British subjects. We have been sold out to special interests, and most probably the Grey aliens too, and for what? Money
and Power, that's what. TPTB have technology that would boggle even the most intelligent mind...cures for all illnesses, interstellar spacecraft,
plasma weapons, infra-red satellites that can see into your home at night, and that's just for starters.

THE CONSTITUTION of the united States of America
Article. VI.
Clause 2: This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be
made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing
in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

The United States is fast becoming two countries. One side is becoming more socialist with it's ideals of the control of the means and ways of
production, the subornation of the individual to the State, and a large and intrusive central government that takes more of our freedoms, our wealth,
and property to redistribute to those groups and individuals that the government deems worthy of or to "right" past "wrongs".
The other side is those Americans who still believe in capitalism and personal profit, limited government, and the representative republic that the
founding fathers gave us. Socialism and republican self-government, both a political and economic issue, cannot exist in the same place and the same
time and sooner or later the issue will have to be decided. Since it appears that neither side will back down the only alternative to a bloody
revolution is a peaceful secession of the United States with each side going it's own way. That is what the Confederacy Project is all about.
The United States federal government has violated its Constitution many times. These violations against the sovereignty of the people prove its
tyranny.
The time has come for the people of this nation to stand up and demand the reinstitution of the Bill of Rights. If the god-given rights of the people
are not restored in a timely manner the people need and are right to take up arms against it.
Today the people are only free during elections and that is not a certainty any longer. The very act of electing your leaders does not make you free.
You are free when there are certain inalienable rights that those leaders cannot ever steal from you.
We no longer enjoy such a freedom. The second amendment has been violated as many as 20,000 times [every gun law] in this nation according to some
reports. It has been promised by those holding office to be violated many more times.
Now even the first amendment is under fire from everything from Universities with their 'speech codes', to the United Nations. The UN itself is an
entirely illegitimate organization, has called for permits and licensing of webpages.
The media, once a watch-dog of the government has become nothing more than a cheerleader. The journalists of today feel threatened by the internet, a
tool of communications which they fear bypasses their ability to desiminate information at their leisure.
Freedom has withered to the point where the Constitution is meaningless in the operation of government. The rights of the states has become whatever
the federal bureaucracy says.
So yes, a Revolution will most likely happen soon.
