Hezbollah has been on Israeli cross hairs since the 2006 fiasco. The Lebanese mobile rocket launch pads were closer to civilian population centers so
when the Israeli jets and the artillery struck back, there were massive collateral damage. The international pressure forced Israel to halt
conflict.
This time around, any conflict with Hezbollah would involve Syria and Iran as well. There has been numerous reports in the media about the weapons
supplied by Syria and Iran to Hezbollah.
As far as pretext for war is concerned, the last Israeli-Hezbollah war started by allegations of kidnapping of Israeli soldiers by Hezbollah.
