ATS - Data Mining

I do not know if this has been mentioned before, but this website just made me think.

Having a website that covers very controversial matters involving many aspects about religion, end times, and conspiracies such as the new world order and 9/11 attacks, and the list goes on. Isn't this a big set up by ATS as a big data mining website allowing for the administrators to gather information about our political interests to determine what the future may hold, or even still to keep a close eye on any disruption within humanity.

There have been many cases where certain threads have either been removed from ATS, either by mistake or some people claim as a preventative tool to not distribute certain information. This site must be closely monitored by the government and we are just handing candy out to them. Does anyone feel me?

We do not retain any information from the member save for the registraion emails (which for all intents and purposes are anonymous to individual/private information).

I thing it is safe to assume that our governments and military and secret organizations all keep an eye on forums such as these. That doesn't mean that they control those forums. If they took off too much information, no one would seek them out. Besides, if they want a fly trap for patriots and conspiracy theorists, then they obviously need to provide the bait.

But consider this, with all that is going on in the world, the natural disasters, the political in fighting, the people at the top betraying people at the top, their schemes and plans getting exposed, them bragging about their depopulation schemes, and also many people posting patriotic videos on youtube and the internet, I think they already know, pretty much so, how we all feel about them.

These forums, where ever they be, are never secure from the eyes of others, so we must always remember that when we post on them. And if you think about it, maybe we should post that material more often, for there is safety in numbers, for a while, at least.

This is all just my opinion, though. I could be wrong.

This is something I am worrying about a little at the moment, but only because some strange things have happened recently to me.

1. I was reading the replies after that video of the US soldier giving the government hell because of of what they are REALLY doing in Iraq/Afghanistan, and my monitor went all fuzzy and then my PC restarted. I am a computer engineer and so I did some diagnostics before simply inserting a new graphics card. I have a UPS and it recieved a double voltage flick twice within 10 seconds, but as it is a good UPS system it simply switched to battery and so this did not harm my PC. About 10 senconds after that was when my monitor went fuzzy. Afer several restarts it was obvious that my graphics card had blown. I inserted another graphics card and switched on my PC and ran some diagnostics and looked through the system log. It appears that after the 2 surges, a "voltage overload" occured on my GPU at a rate of 3x what it normally handles. This was impossible due to the system now running on the UPS battery. When I looked further into this, I found that an instruction of 0x0115FXX0010 (a power switch) was written to my GPU, therefore overloading it with more power than it could handle and thus it blew. I know about computers, and without some stealth secret technology device, this is not possible given that I was running on 24v. My computer gave the instruction to my GPU that it required 3x the power to operate it's next instruction, which was totally false, and it blew. I've never come across anything quite like it in my life, and so I raised an eyebrow.

2. 3 times this week a police helicopter has followed me home from work, and last night it hovered above my house in "silent-mode" for an hour, probably surveying me in my house in different wavelengths using the specialised camera (IMO).

3. A black van has been parked opposite my house for the last 2 days with totally blacked-out windows and a "tiny" satellite dish on top. The window is facing my house and I can't help but feel they are watching me. I can't think what I might have said that touched a nerver, but something has, for sure.

4. Yes, I've been writing some Anti-USA Government stuff over the last few weeks, and it's because I've been privvy to some unorthodox evidence predented to me by several individuals (2 of which are friend ATS members), which clearly show that both ATS is infiltrated, and also that the US Government did in "fact" orchestrate 9/11, amongst other things!

Another piece of evidence shows that there are truly people of a good nature (tank God), attempting to take down the bad guys from within, and 2 of the people in question are people which even people here on ATS do consider "the bad guys" themselves. The only thing is, they know I know.

Problem is, neither of which evidences are the "holy grail" of evidence (also IMHO) I might add, but I have admittedly become more anti-american than ever and my posts here have shown so over the last week or so; and I think someone is now watching me a lot closer than they were.

I really don't know what to do... Any ideas anyone?

In any case, my advice to the OP is this:

Make copies of everything important you read regarding the ney-say topics here on ATS, and elsewhere, and make sure you can have them at hand easily if something does happen, because I feel something is about to happen, Something BIG!

Yeah quite true i believe. I have realized that abovetopsecret.com does not collect certain information such as "log files of activity on our websites", but instead "employ the analytics software (which does set a cookie) to obtain traffic analysis data". Although Google not being owned by the government still undoubtedly has access to such information like this, from Google.

Although data mining does occur within Abovetopsecret, not information relevant to "personal information such as name, address, or phone number", it would be still interesting to know what exactly the information on this website is used for, if there is a use, besides what we already know it as: to seek the truth.
