Havnt figured out what the leathal limit is yet though....working on that.

I can add an observation though.

When your eyeballs start to go back up in your head. You have another 30 minutes at least before you have to crash.

Honestly, I've been on a few websites/boards but ATS is the only one I have been 'addicted' to.

Still, it stops me from wandering the streets tormenting the 'fundie sheep' (thanks for that, KayEm )

The good thing about posting here as opposed to arguing with the wife is, you can always use the DELETE key on ATS.

How do you think this site got to be number 4? We're all addicted! There should be warning signs here for people entering for the first time "Beware - addiction to this site will cause you to lose your family, friends and all semblance to normal life - you will never be the same again!"

Only solution I can think of to limit your time here is to adopt a couple of teenagers who are chat room mad - you would then have to fight them for access to the web, and in time would give in for a quiet life!

OMG get my wife interested? no way!

I got her interested in Ultima Online,
next thing I knew, I couldnt play UO cause she was constantly playing it. I couldn't even check e mail cause she was always playing UO. Finally, a year later, she has lost interest in UO....and I got my COMPUTER BACK!!

Wife or ATS? The choice is simple really....get a new wife. That's what I did.

And there is an Ignore button. The new and inproved wife version 6.2 comes with the ignore button already installed. I'm trading mine in today I'm addicted to this place as well since joining last Oct there propably hasn't been a day that I haven't at least logged in to read a few posts.

It is very unfortunate they have taken this away this site from me at work and classify the material as "extreme." It would really help to pass 8.5 hours at work...

Due to a couple of 'habits' i regard as perfectly normal,

I've been to a few other speculative sites in the past and none of them produced an obsession as ATS has. Its like the site is actively ALIVE, where it is producing new and intruiging topics. No other place is like that. The comments made by people on these forums have interesting research and an honest oppionion. The other conspiracy sites have people bashing one another and there are no controls for these individuals. It seems as though members at ATS give pride in their research and thoughts. I will have to say I visit ATS daily and it one could classify this as OBSESSIVE.
