haha... I knew that was coming. Well done. I also take these classes (at the gym) and YES, they are a fabulous workout, and a lot of fun. Good to read that your health has recovered.

Back to the OP - Just goes to show, never judge a book by it's cover... cliche as that is... it's true for a reason. Again, these women had their rights violated and it is good to see that those responsible were held accountable.

Thats interesting. I to have known one stripper in my lifetime. She quit her waitress job to go strip. And guess what...... She got fired for doing things that your not supposed to do in the back room. Deffinately not a "lady."

Can I have her phone number?

Seriously though.. any pics? haheheh..

No, really.. "strippers" are just people and US citizens, not to be abused. This type of thing happens daily, more people should sue... make depts pay often enough and they will alter their behavior.

You get me Darlin' and I thank you! The rule you cite ALSO applys to the OP's "incident" and the subsequent rants of some on the moral-fiber of the women in question and NOT about the fact that their "rights"as US citizens might have been conflicted/violated.

Regardless if one is male,female,trans-gendered,gay, or whatever other color the popular-rainbow is capable of producing these days and no matter WHAT anyone "chooses" to do in order to make a living, the issue was and remains their right to do so and be treated with the respect accorded to them under the so called "laws" we live by when a situation occurs that may result in police-intervention or legalities.

IF people do NOT continue to stand for "something",even if it may seem trivial to some that these LADIES were not shown even basic human respects,we as a people are beyond hope and deserving of implosion as a society.

Again,I applaud them.

You sure you want her number? the last time I saw her she was a Staff Sargent out at Camp Pendleton in Southern Calif. She was over at Main side and responsible for transferring prisoners...

I never said she was still a striper...

In his case, One really does not think he has any humility, just goes to show what a male chovenist pig some men can be. Not wonder some ladies cut thier mens private parts off and chuck them out of a car window.

Maybe if men learned to keep thier pants zipped or thier fantasies to themselves, with thier wife's, there would be not need for strippers or prostitutes, now would there.

I disagree on the shut-down...this thread really has become a microcosm of the larger circumstance.

The put-downs of those in 'dubious' lines of work are the fuel that fires the authorities to be selective in their enforcement of rights. For all those folks diminishing women in the sex trade, there are those who are willing to use their authority to further victimize them. It's a sad state of affairs , but I thank you for posting the thread in the first place, and for unintentionally providing a forum to put it all in context.

The next step down from 'she doesn't deserve my respect' is 'she's disposable'.

Ok so do you or do you not dance around naked in front of oogeling men?
Its one thing to do it as a workout or even a hobbie, showing other how to. It is quite another to go to one of these establishments and actualy do it.

I know a lot of humility. Believe me. But when i believe myself to be right i plant my feet and will not budge. Apparently America is totaly Different than Scotland. You see over here we have a thing called morals which some of us cherish deeply. Maybe you should look it up.

Yes i believe i remember that. Im pretty sure it was because he came home and forceably raped her. I certainly hope that you are not campairing me to that.

I have respect for everyone. Even if they dont respect themselves. Even if they campair me to John Bobbit on a message board.

Extreme side note: What did Jeffery Dahmer say to Lorena Bobbit?

A: You gonna eat that.

Simply backing you up on the moral decrepitude of the Scots...you know, with my tongue firmly implanted in my cheek? A tip, though...don't annoy them. She'll hunt you down and gut you like a herring.

self edit to say google haggis

I stand by what I said.

Strippers are not ladies. Extending the title of lady to all females just dilutes the meaning. I wouldn't classify myself as a gentlemen either. No gentlemen would go to a strip club. I have not been to one in years but I have been to them in the past.

Regardless of being a lady or not these women have rights. In this case the right decision was made by the jury.

Going to poll dancing classes and striping are not exactly the same thing. You can go to classes on how to be a better partner in bed and that would be alright. As soon as you start to use those skills to make money, we have a name for that. The same holds true for stripping.

I know girls that used to be strippers. I have friends who are married to former strippers. They are not bad people. They just chose to work in a profession where they don't behave in a lady like manner.

The job is what it is. Nobody goes to a strip club to she how talented the strippers are. (However, the talented ones can do some amazing things)

You certainly do not show any respect what so ever in your responces on this topic. You just show your sexist views over women. Weither they are strippers, office workers, etc. Pretty pathetic and immature to say the least.
