Reading and awaiting more information!

If what you say is true, it is something I have thought long ago.

I would imagine that information processing based on key words can be automatized to be pretty effective. However, there are ways to overcome that. Only stupid and reckless people get caught - but then again, if it is for monitoring citizien's web conversations, blogs and such to get the picture where are they regarding the levels of Consciousness and awerness in general, it can be effective.

But real crooks would encrypt their information effectively.

But you could've just build (programmed) an application that views websites and show those fancy buttons ('deemed safe' etc.) at the top of the web browser then shot a video as shown below and claim to be working for some clandestine agency, just to cause a fuss!

I wouldn't start screaming CONSPIRACY yet. Can you provide any further information?

We all need to be cautious about what we ask and how, especially on this thread, a revelation perhaps ? a fishing net perhaps ? I know that most ATSers are savvy to these things, but by being too specific in questions may inadvertantantly put ourselves on the radar. It may all be bunk, we shall see, or it may be real whistleblowing, either way we will need to think thrice about the content of our posts, especially on this thread !

I second that but we've got nothing to hide.
I wonder what kind of computers they use in the "hub"? mac or pc?

What are the some of the more sinister rumors you have heard? What I mean: Have you heard anything the Govt does that would be considered illegal or just plain crazy?

By the way I hope your using a Library computer or a net cafe to post this.. Home computers and personal cell phones are a no-no..
*The great thing is that there is SO Many freaks out there that put so much Garbage on the web it couldn't Possibly be all monitored..and if it somehow was all read and analyzed 99.999999999% is a waste of time..

I would love to know what there looking for.. Does the govt really think some terrorist network is gonna just say where and when the next attack will be?

Anyway I believe you and thank you for coming forward..

Would it go off if he was just taking a picture/video? I don't know much about the systems you're talking about but I suppose they could go off just by the cell phone getting a signal?

Personally I think that this is a HOAX, but that is only going on a gut feeling, I don`t think that anything of worth will come of it, but If it encourages people to mention certain KEYWORDS, then they would in all probability end up being flagged by someone, somewhere. I can see tempers flaring very quickly and many people being too hasty in certain replies !

Even if this is not a hoax, am I the only one thinking what the big deal is? Has it not been common knowledge for years that governments monitor 'key words' from internet usage?

Is 'formerspook' posting this because he may be getting laid off ??

Probably just planting the hook, to explain why they are posting the story, for a first post which they are expecting to be removed, holds no indicators to the supposed destination of the story. Smells like fish !

The system is designed to go off 10 feet from the front door of the secure area to alert you to the fact that your mobile is on, and you have forgotten to hand it in.

If you turn it off, walk inside the room and then turn it back on, the alarms go off, and you will be escorted to a holding are to explain your actions.

For any secure area, you can not take any recording device, usb drive, camera, mobile etc etc etc into. you are searched prior to entry, prohibitive items return on exit.

I don't understand how he used a camera phone if he was always being monitored.

So Leo LaPorte is kicked up by the government software for review? Why? Isn't he a family friendly computer guy?

It looks more like parental control software to me.

You don't write like a spook, and what you've revealed is not news at all. The information is easily accessible on the web.

My apologies if I am mislabeling you, but intuitively, you add up to a hoaxter.

If I'm wrong, then answer me this: what would motivate you to come out and want to discuss what - according to you - are sensitive/classified operations?

You'd want to have a darn good reason, otherwise, you should be locked up for treason!

I can't believe that this thread has even been flagged once yet alone 25 times. Are people really this gullible or just bored?

Hey, I think I'll grab my Flip Mino and start taking some sneaky video clips of me surfing the web to post on ATS.

To the OP, Get a hobby. Its a good time of the year to start crocheting blankets for the homeless.

By the way: getting banned from ATS, is the least of your worries.

You're edging towards committing a Federal offence for either divulging matters of state security, or you're impersonating a Federal agent!

I suspect it's the latter.

It looks like you are simply rating websites for decency (lack of sexual content) for the purpose of blocking such sites on government computers. There are plenty of home software applications like surfwatch that do the exact same thing. They're probably just sending you the sites that the software wasn't sure about either way.

Video doesn't really provide much information, a quiet dark room. no back ground noise, no light, surely it can't be an office building .Probably just some kid in a basement with a neat little program.

Nice video, pity about the black background, if it was a well lite room as you said, you should be able to see things near and around the monitor.

Also - how exactly did you manage to use a mobile in a secured area that would be alarmed for mobile transmissions????

And yes - I have/do work in high security areas, and I have been inside US secure areas. They all have these alarms.

Above seems quite propable; there are these cell phone alarms in some hospitals and theaters even. And there are buttocks region on the lower parts of human torso also

For the sake of the momentary exitement, let's all believe OP for a brief moment and then walk away to our boring lives

Thanks for coming clean OP!

I'm glad you posted this on a conspiracy website instead of going to the media, a local newspaper or maybe even Girl Scout Troop 84

Do you have an address or paypal link where I can send money for the survival guide?

Thanks and good luck not getting caught LOL!!!1one

Not to doubt the OPs "job," but the video looks like a simple firefox plugin. I honestly think I used to have it. I'll see if I can find it again, as those safety tabs look incredibly familiar.

Cheers,
Strype
