AAAAAAAAAAAAGH! Burnt roof of my mouth....how do i soothe it?

Anyone got any home remedies that may soothe or increase the healing process of a burnt roof of mouth?

I decided last night that eating pizza straight from the oven, with molten pizza sauce and cheese would make for a fun friday night....I was wrong

Now, just behind my top front teeth Ive got a nice red shiny patch which hurts quite abit, so can anyone help me out with this?

suck on an ice cube
or eat ice cream to ease the burning...

and use something disinfecting for the mouth, if you don't have that, use camille tea or make an extract from sage.

I don't think there is much more you can do besides the above. My dad's mouth and throat is completely burned right now because of the radiation he received for his cancer treatment. There is not much he can do about it either then wait untill it heals.

That will teach you for being to greedy for pizza, I know ive done in many times.


Try slaming you're hand in the oven door to take you're mind off whats going on in you're mouth.

Thats not what you asked.

You asked how to soothe the pain in you're mouth.

I'll tell you something funny, I was on holiday with a load of my friends years ago. One of my friends had a nasty crash on the scooter he was rideing. He only had on a pair of shorts.

He had skidded across the gravel and had a wicked road rash over a large part of his body.

He asked us what can i do to sooth the pain. I told him to lay in the sea and the salt will soothe him.

He only went and did it ran stright in, and stright back out screaming
