Strange... I always thought that the good Lord lived in my parents bathroom.. when I was growing up I often used to hear my dad shout
"Christ almighty are you still in there?"

Hmmm... very interesting! But I dunno... the 'apparition' I've ever really believed was
this one... which I personally find to be undeniable!
But hey, I guess that's just a matter of opinion.

I like the tongue-in-cheek tone of the article & comments. I went there prepared to be annoyed by stupidity, but it turned out funny enough.

Song- by Joan Osbourne-
-"What if God was one of us"....
If god had a face
what would it look like
and would you want to see
If seeing meant that
you would have to believe
In things like heaven and in
Jesus and the saints and all
the prophets
and yeah yeah God is
great yeah yeah God is
good yeah yeah yeah yeah!

Have you ever been to Ikea? Once you're in, you've got at least a 3-mile walk ahead of you even if you just need a bathmat.
It's no accident that Jesus appears on Ikea's toilet door - that's where most people go to pray for god to show them a quick way out of the store.
Maybe Jesus in ikea is some sort of reference to him spending 40 days in the wilderness?
And for that matter it could be Moses!

That is certainly an interesting picture although certainly not of divine province... Humans are inclined to see faces in places where they are not.
For example, clouds, smoke, rock formations etc....
What we have here is completely random. A tree grew and the grain of the wood took that shape because of nature, environment and the trees inate
ability to grow in a certain way in order to survive ( I.E a tree growing with a bend so that it can reach sun light....)
This is a coincidence but a very cool one.

People will see what they want to see, it is a matter of interpretation. I for one see a strong resemblance to Treebeard or some other ent from Lord
of The Rings.

Definitely him.
Now maybe if we pull back the wood... we'll find the ring....

No one knows exactly what Jesus looked like.
Though it is an interesting wood pattern and he was the Son of a carpenter.
But I think the image looks more like Rasputin.
