reply to post by Alaskan Man Right On!!! I don't think there is anything more beautiful than the animals of the Northwest. I must say the most dangerous critter in my mind, and many others is a stubborn Moose. I still love them, and all their doing is declaring it their home S&F

I'm considering moving from California to Alaska in a few years to be closer to nature and that wonderful land you have there. Any advise you'd like to give me on some of the best cities to move to (or right on the outskirts). Thanks! (Did you let them graze for awhile?)

Love stuff like this. I'm from the UK and round me, there isbarely any wildlife to speak of. I was lucky enough to visit Whidbey Island off Washington State earlier in the year... Was sitting for hours watching Deer munching away in the front garden of where I was staying - loved it

I would be in Alaska in a heartbeat if I could deal with the lack of sun. Great post .

Thanks for posting this! We don't have anything like these where I am at, not even deer. I'd love to see the reaction of my dogs if a moose hopped over the fence in the back yard!
