Harry Connick Jr. just sang the national anthem at the NFL's opening game tonight in Pittsburgh, and right after the camera panned over the crowd and someone was holding up a huge black and yellow sign that said "DON'T TREAD ON ME" with the snake image below it and everything! Awesome!!!

Edit: Someone try to find a picture! Maybe someone who recorded the game can do it.

I saw that too, but I thought it was referring to the football game. It stood right out though.

blog.taragana.com...

it was referring to the game- it has to do with the Towel Tromp--In Pittsburgh, one doesn’t dare tread on the Terrible Towel

Would that be the ¨Gadsden Flag¨. For reference en.wikipedia.org...
And I hope the Steelers fail btw.

Ha I did see that and smiled. At the end of the game when they put the camera on Big Ben did you seem him throw up the devil horns?

The Steelers didn't fail (lol@you for even thinking they would)...

Ben is not a Satanist... despite whatever "magical" hand gestures you may have seen...

And the don't tread on me sign referred to an incident that happened last year when the Steelers played the Titans. After beating the Steelers last year, a few members of the Titans, most notably LenDale White, took it upon themselves to stomp on the Steelers iconic "Terrible Towel" in a show of bad sportsmanship.

The "Don't Tread on Me" sign was no doubt a response to that incident.

Go Steelers

Yea I also saw him throw up the devil sign at the end of the game.

Is it possible that Ben Roethlisberger could be affiliated with some sort of secret society or something? Sure, I guess it's possible. Is it likely? Nope.

If anything I think him throwing up the "horns" is nothing more than good evidence that all kinds of random people throw up that gesture and have no intention of it representing anything satanic.
