Is there a word count limit? I know it is a short story, but how short should it be?

I think I may enter this one. The topic is quite intriguing.

There is nothing more interesting to read than a smart twist

I will pass on this one since I will be too preoccupied. It is a shame

Good luck contestants!

Here's hoping you find both the inspiration and the time to get involved, BH.

Having the ability to use ANY theme is nice. The mind just boggles at the possibilities. The real test will be in how shocking the twist will be.

Don't put your back out doing that twist.

Yeah... still loving that vid.

Loved the video! ( My highschool principal sang that at a talent contest many moons ago, and brought down the house.... ahhhh the good old days....
)

I've been working on something 'twisty', and this might just be the 'inspiration' to get me off my duff and get it finished! I'm in.....

Missed the last contest (actually still writing it) but I will give it my best shot on this one.

Sounds like a fun challenge.

I'm lovin' all the interest in this idea and the stories presented so far leave me twisting with high expectations.

Note: a sufficient panel of judges has come forward to volunteer. Thank you all for your help.

I am so entering this. I've already got at least one idea that's withstood the "3 day bad idea" test. It might take me a while, though, since I haven't even started on my first draft of it...

Interesting, and very tempting. But my powers are not yet fully returned.

Beware the day that they are.

There is always this rule in the OP:

One story per contestant. Member can replace story submissions at any time and as often as they like. Please U2U me for replacements.

Hey, I just gave you the Holy Grail in a U2U. I told you my darkest secrets of how I write stories. So, you can re-write with what I explained, or you can devise your own mechanisms by using the techniques I described.

You have the talent and that is why I asked for help with that Alien thread of mine. I needed a good writer to work out the story and you are a good writer no doubt. It is not my goal to blow you out of the water which is why I U2U'd you my secrets. Do not share them Toodles, for I will know. hehehe
