Into Paris Hilton ?

She's the complete opposite of what I like, I detest air headed barbie doll type women and she's ugly to boot, sure some are nice to look at but the majority are self centered and leave little to the imagination.

I like classy women

Paris is a bit of an "in-joke" on here---eh Truth and Kram

And fancy callin my mate Paris an air head----oh and ugly-----and a barbie doll

Well Truth ya know who to blame when Paris takes her bat n ball home !!

I nearly fell off my ladder.

and out of left field...

:-)

or, maybe not

some times you feel like a nut - sometimes you don't - even if you're Mozart

not everything can be the Requiem - now can it?

if it makes you feel any better - I can only listen to that sort of thing for just a little bit - usually makes me think of wine and cheese or Merchant-Ivory party scenes

coy glances and knowing smiles

I'm more into the over-the-top-drama-queen-showstopping-schmaltz end of the spectrum

and - what the devil are you talking about - anyway?

:-)

Well first off, I noticed your "guitar" thread several months ago and being that is my instrument of choice now, which was a progression of instruments including the recorder ,then I moved on to the violin, and found it a bit shrill to play, so I switched to the Viola.
So in following your thread for awhile, and noticing that you were posting most of the songs I was going to post before I did as did others, I just enjoyed the thread.

I don't relate classical music to the "Ambiance" as it where,I relate to it as a musician.

I also noticed you taking a slightly off centered stance in this thread and expressing the adopted position of "observer" in which I also enjoy because of other interests I have in psychology and Anthropology.
So I felt you were sorta of a kindred spirit of sorts.

I myself am A little eclectic in my tastes and appears that you are as well.
Although I am slightly distracted at ATS/BTS by such things as chat and Mutter I still find time to post, but really don't start allot of threads.

what the devil are you talking about - anyway?

HI lol

...then I moved on to the violin, and found it a bit shrill to play, so I switched to the Viola...

you found the violin to be shrill - really?

my favorite - after the cello - but nothing wrong with the viola

I am no musician - and I am aware that musicians do hear music very differently from those of us that don't play or write

I almost hear visually - if that makes any sense

So in following your thread for awhile, and noticing that you were posting most of the songs I was going to post before I did as did others, I just enjoyed the thread.

well - it's been dormant forever - and I know for a fact that a lot of really good music is still missing - please post some of your favorites - they can't ALL be there already :-)

there is so much...

I don't relate classical music to the "Ambiance" as it where, I relate to it as a musician.

ambience - I do have a thing for ambience - but I wish there was a better word

and I should correct what I said earlier - I really do like that piece - and others like it - just not my favorite

and - neither is Mozart :-)

I also noticed you taking a slightly off centered stance in this thread and expressing the adopted position of "observer" in which I also enjoy because of other interests I have in psychology and Anthropology.
So I felt you were sorta of a kindred spirit of sorts.

:-) then we are - I am a horrible eavesdropper - no foolin'

but only when in public - anything you say out loud in public is fair game I think

I love to hear what people are saying and thinking - there's nothing better

I myself am A little eclectic in my tastes and appears that you are as well.

I am - I like almost everything

except liver and cauliflower

and hate

:-)

...but really don't start allot of threads.

it's a special talent - which I do not possess

Well at least you know the kind of women I don't like which may help you in your search as daunting as it is for you!

Besides I'm in no rush for a "other half" as I have such a busy life at the moment I really have no time for social duties like going on dates and the like plus I'm starting uni the end of this month so I'll have even less time lol

absolutely one of my favorites - of all time :-)

along with "Brown Eyed Girl"

here's to fun and poetic funerals -

:-)

now, Ms UK - I know you are nearly desperate to pair me off

but I must scoot now - really - I am just hanging around and making a nuisance of myself because it's fun

and the insanity seems to be simmering down now...you'll all be fine

I'll catch up with you all later
