who here has done the belief o matic?

It tells you what your beliefs are and puts them in a box for you

It's always been spot on for me- Catholicism right down the very bottom! followed closely by the JWs, lol-

My beliefs have actually changed since I last did it so I might do it again just for fun too-
I was probably what you would call New Age but haved moved away from that the last couple of years and have even been proclaiming no belief in god/a god but maybe that was being hasty LOL and getting god/a god/gods mixed up with bible God haha always hearing such much about him lol.... I'm probably agnostic if I think about it more closely

anyway heres the link if anyones interested

well I dunno about this being that accurate my no 1 wasn't my beliefs at all

still, it does get the religions I dislike the most in the right order! Catholicism was right down the bottom again, lol followed closely by the JW's...which probably shouldn't even be in there as it's a cult but cult /religion to me they are one and the same- cults just tend to be more OTT about everything

Greetings life!

Hmm well for me.. the belife o matic!! I was put through the grinder on this o matic religious machine on Earth here..heh..

It all started when I was very young I was forced into a very hard core right wing christian church. It was the kind of place where they used fire and brimstone to scare all the children into their ways of thinking.
If you got out of line.. The nuns would hit you with a ruler across the face. And order your parents to come into mass.. And spank your ass in front of the whole pew! It was very degrading and humilated me at a young age.. As I was always the one getting the whippings..
And as sadistic as I might seem.. I truely think some people at that church got off on that type of abuse.

Theres more to this story, But I wont go into the details just yet.. prehaps when I U2 you.. I will explain more..

After that.. A few years went by and my parents divorced.. So that got me out of there..

I then took a full swing and got extreamly heavy into occults.. Cults, and covens.. Wicca and witchcraft..
Yet that ended up being as sexually perverted as the catholic church I was made to go too..
As my aunt was the screwed up wiccan.. Who liked young boys..

So its not just catholic preists who like young pretty looking boys..:bnghd:

So after I ran screaming from Wicca and other types..
I pretty much found I was on my own.. To come up wth my own thoughts and feelings about God, jesus and the church..

I have been like a world student of most religions in my life.. And have taken the time to see the evils that each religion holds..
While I do try to see the postive.. I couldnt find postive in organized churches.. cults. or covens..

But thats the short story version.. As this is just for a bit of fun..
And I learned alot about the nature of religion..
And most of it is a cover for evil to find its way into good peoples hearts..

Granted most people who go to church or belive in God are naturally good people.. Yet they do not understand they are feeding into a power base..
And while that power base grows... So does the evil it breeds..

Well as for me I grew up thinking communion was a potatoe chip and if dad took us to church me and my bro would call it lays chips.

Oh how iv'e changed.

well i went through one point in my life where I wouldn't leave the house for about a year and had massive SAD social disorder. Converted to the church after reading about saints and what really did it was when I was hospitalized by a panic disorder, at that moment the catholic teaching came true for me.

" God sustains every breath '

so i realized I needed communion, and have felt things that cannot be put into words from a real latin mass. not the post vatican mass, a latin mass.

haven't been to communion in over a year.

I'm always amazed to see how many on bts are fall away catholics. I'm the exact reverse.

hehe.. Whats that saying?
Great minds think alike!

Most the time I really steer clear of religion and speaking my mind in a public forum..
But here lately its just been on the front of my mind.. So all this week I have been speaking up much more and feeling the need to talk about this stuff..

Not sure why.. When most the time I know to just keep it to myself..
Yet something deep inside of me was pushing me to speak up..

And now that I have most of it off my chest.. going back to the topics I feel much more comfortable talking about..
Yet its been fun and enlightening!!

Thanks for the thread!
