It's likely that if one goes off, they either all do at the same time or merge into a larger one.

They are like a 2 dimensional view of the barrel of a gun, so if they are facing earth and lined up just right it could hit us for sure. Keep in mind that they are relatively small. But I guess every volcano starts with a vent!

I think they will merge into a larger one and rather than a slug type round, it will be like a scatter shot. Who knows? Hehehe.

It's peculiar but I don't think we will see an X class flare out of it like the many we had in the last cycle.

Yes, they appear around 20º latitude (between 30 and 10º north or south), so it is near the 19.5º latitude like Mars Cydonia, Jupiter Red Spot, Neptune Spot, and Earth hurricanes and mayan and egypt pyramids.
