Anyone in the area up for a road trip to North Carolina? Seems like doing a bit of patching & painting would be a nice charitable act...

I have a few extra beds. I am about an hour and 30 minutes from the lodge. If we can get a few folks together, I can do a recon to get a supply list. Just let me know. You are on point.

That looks a lot like the lodge the police had to escort me out of last week. The one i went in was in northern california. Like most small churches and YMCA type places they are pretty run down. The people go there for the purpse and not so much to see nice things. Like most of these small places they will call the cops on you.

My masonic lodge that I joined into was the same way. No big deal. We're not all rich and all powerful evil beings...well if you consider raising money for handicapped children with the shriners, and doing fundraisers for local charities evil...well then we're satan I guess. Truth is most of your average lodges are just like this, funded by donations from members or fundraiser dinners.

I think the OP was trying to demonstrate somehow that Prince Hall lodges and lodge member are not regarded equally, due to the less-than-glorious state of the kitchen, and hence his jibe about "relief".

Abysmal effort.

I think this proves that not all Masons are equipped to gather together a pile of capital and maintain and grow it. They need some stock traders amongst them. They need to blend capitalist with occultist and build an amazing lodge to impress people.

we don't try to impress anyone, I dont think any Mason cares enough about what non-members think yet alone try to present this false image of rich, powerful, all knowing, whatever the case may be.

I just wish everyone who cares enough and wastes enough time to break into a lodge,or research the dark secrets, or any of that BS would take the time to legitimately get the right information would do so.

I think you would be shocked at how wrong 95% of the accusations are.

think of this..the whole world regards you as an all powerful, all knowing evil group, they fear you, they want to know the secrets, they create talesand myths based upon you, the History Channel makes specials on you....would you just tell all and ruin the fun. I wouldnt, that S#$& is hilarious. Like Chuck Norris when he reads all the "facts" about him, I bet he feels awesome and laughs about it.

Maybe they get outside catering to handle 'festive feasts'?
Oh no......with that comment I feel I may have started another "get -the torches- for -a -withchhunt" masonic conspiracy!!?
I didnt notice any appliances there, so would it be unreasonable to say that they would probably only use that kitchen for making cups of tea/coffee?

I don't know....looked pretty clean to me. Just needs a new coat of paint and maybe some new baseboards. I fail to see the point of the thread.

Since you have decided to include a question mark in your answer I can only assume that you also have no idea why you started this thread other then to stir the pot.

Just for the record, my objection wasn't to the pictures themselves, but to the inferences made in the post accompanying them.

And yet many Lodges are just modest buildings. For the most part only the Grand bodies have nicer buildings, but not all.

For those who have been wondering what's the difference

Look at how rundown it is, and the kitchen looks rather unsanitary. Looks like these guys could use some "relief"

I don't understand what this is supposed to mean.
For those wondering what's the difference with what?

Can you explain what this low budget lodge symbolizes?

Appreciated...
