I dont agree h3akalee, the DOF (depth of field) seems to indicate that this object is further away and not on the camera lens. Say the photographer is
behind a window and a single raindrop hits the glass, the only plausible explanation is that he then somehow manages to take the shot just a fraction
of second before the single raindrop explodes into multiple water particles.
