I briefly stepped outside of my dwelling a few hours ago and was bombarded with Fox News, CNN, and Talk Radio stations.

Every Restaurant has the exact same Flat Screen with a black bar on it that is tuned into a major News Network. But it's not only restaurants with these channels on..

Just last week I went inside of a major Electric Company uptown and noticed the exact same Flat Screen Tuned into Cnn it was sitting up high in the corner where you could not miss it, the Hospitals have Fox News and the Gas Stations are tuned into Talk Radio.

Now this is what I'm thinking here, when the SHTF people are going to be locked into the message being put forth by these Flat Screens, then Panic thereby clogging the streets and interstates around every major and or minor city.

There are some SUV's and Van's being installed with the little Flat Screens also, and they too receive cable..

I'm in the U.S.A , but have any Overseas ATS members noticed this in their towns and cities?

checking in from Ontario Canada here....
I see the same thing.
The food court at the mall has a half dozen flat screens, with CNN 24/7.
As does the bus station, and even the restaurants/sports bars when there is no sports on to watch.
A wee bit 1984....methinks.

In every hotel i've stayed at, or Suite, they always had Fox News on Right infront of the elevator doors. I figure thats usual, bias but usual nonetheless.

Not a big plasma tv city i'm in, i'll be on the look out though.

I never had the pleasure of reading 1984, it does however remind me of Fahrenheit 451, where Guy Montag's wife is in the T.V. room surrounded on all sides by screens.

Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Ohio. Each of the airports I have gone through before reaching my destination all seemed to be on either CNN or Fox. I was halfway sleepy after taking Benadryl, but I remember seeing those words on the screen at least. I'll be going back home (to Ohio) tomorrow and can verify since we are supposed to be hitting the same spots.

Most of the time in the airports it seems people are rarely watching after about 10 minutes (give or take a few) of seeing the same stuff repeated over and over again.

screens everywhere (Poland) but only a sport channels on except hotels and so (BBC there mostly or music channels). but I find it pretty normal. how can you run the bar and have no tv - you will loose a lot of clients (sport fans).

I have a tv/dvd in my car too cause my doughter like to watch movies on the longer trips. CNN is obviously a propaganda but what you expect?

cheers

At least at your food court they're playing something that distantly resembles something informative. The last time I was at my local food court the big screens were just playing "America's ten funniest groin shots" on loop...
And at the burger king nearby, they only ever seem to be playing TMZ or something equally worthless. The screens at the gas stations just play commercials for payday loan and check cashing services, occasionally punctuated with local traffic info. for the freeways and such.

Edited for the addition of more relevant content.

It certainly would remind you of Ferenheight 451, and probably scare you a little more.

It's the society we live in today, the MSM are counting on public places to give out this ridiculous information.

Remember in the 90's we had all these movies that would open up with people standing in front of the store who had like 12 TV's on the same channel, going on about some huge event that just happened?

This is the whole point of that. But it's also about business competition. To have the best hotel or restaurant, you need to provide a setting that people are willing to put up with.

As most people are tied to MSM all day every day, and eat this crap up, it's no wonder we would see this trend begin to surface everywhere.

And when you look at it from a historical perspective, this is all just a move up in technology. We'd be saying the same thing if we were in the 40's and radio had just been introduced mainstream, restaurants and hotels would have had these on all the time, tuned in to news.

So it's the format that's changing, then trend is just becoming agressively more popular as time moves forward.

sorry about that folks I had to step outside once again....

The last restaurant I visited used to have only sports playing on all the Screens... Now there is a Screen playing CNN when you're waiting to be seated and one for the take out bar.

Some of you may have noticed that when everyone is watching Breaking NEWS or Regular News they do not talk to each other everyone just stares at the Flat Screen. and When we do not communicate with each other we become less and less likely to be articulate about what's going on. At least at the Local Sports bar we talk about the Plays, Playbacks and High Five each other...

So This Shiny Flat Screen News Tactic makes it a Whole lot Easier for TPTB to slip in a few new Rules for us to follow.

So Who's paying for these TV's?

Did any of you ever read that Stephen King novella "Running Man"? ...anyway one of the elements of the story was the "Free-Vee" everyone had one, a big ol tv in every house apt store etc and it was always on...that is what this big screen proliferation reminds me of-and it ain't good. King was quite prescient, other of his richard bachman stories had what would now be called "reality tv" themes, etc.

I can vouch that in the two hospitals I was in in the last two months both had Fox News playing.

Soon I'm sure they'll all be reporting what sectors that we are in and what direction we must walk.

I think a better question is why are they doing this?

I was in a Walmart not too long ago looking at some tv's and all the channels was on Fox News but I didn't think anything of it at the time.

That's what I'm thinking too Access,

The Gas Stations near my Parkway used to Play the Managers favorite or at least most popular CD now they play what I believe is NPR or something that is similar to Talk Radio while only occassionaly playing music.

I do notice people with their arms folded on their chests sitting right in front of the Flat Screens and not making a peep. A few in the back rows or on the sides of the TV's repeat almost everything the anchor says word for word as if no one else heard what was just said.

usually an older couple...

I've never heard of that story. There was a radio giveaway a few months ago in my city. The "famous local reporters" were there for celebrity purposes and brought in the young Newscast fanatics. They lined up for hours.

They're telling people to tune into some new Weather Channel all day everyday for bad weather alerts that only this radio can tell you about.

Not seen this in my neck of the woods in the UK. Granted, alot of bars and restaurants have flat screen t.v.'s not the same brand however and hardly ever tuned into a news channel - sport or music would be more probable.

You know what is weird though, on films or t.v. shows ect. the t.v.'s or monitors see in films ect.....always appear to be Sony
- i know sony pruduce films ect..but even when theyr'e not involved.
Another 'Sony' puzzle i have going round my head is why is the axis on the dollar sign slanted on sony laptops

I'm not sure who is supplying these Flat Screens, they are usually covered with a Shiny Black Bar and you can only see the Screen. They do have the same bracket that holds them to. I believe it has a joint so it may be a swivel bracket.

I have to check out that dollar sign too, creepy

I've noticed it in banks (Wachovia and Bank of America), as well; captive audience and whatnot.

During a recent stay in the hospital Cooper Hospital, In Camden NJ to be exact I was put into the new section of the hospital, It was AMAZING but literally made me feel sick because of how obvious money was wasted and how just a few blocks away under the bridge there is a tent city with 100's of homeless people.
Hospitals do not need to be THAT damn pretty and just so much wasted space.
I shouldn't mind as I'll be spending a lot of time there in the coming weeks and months, the rooms are all single rooms with their own air conditioning and purifiers.
It's like beyond a five star hotel, seriously over done and the money could have most defiantly went to other places like charity care for the homeless and homeless children and so many other things the hospital is stricken with by being in one of the top at times number one most violent deadly drug infested cities in the USA.
But anyway, along with all the pretty things, there are HUGE flat screens every where, every so many feet in the main hall ways, in the elevators they all have cable, and around here that is new and different, and get this IT's FREE! which is weird because last year they were still on the same plane where you would have to call and have them charge you home phone to get the TV and if you didn't you were screwed and had no tv, That's A LOT of money they are doing without also as I've pretty much grown up in hospitals you'd really only get a few channels like CBS FOX and then for some reason animal planet lol and maybe two or three others but now there's every station you could ask for including CNN, above all the beds in the ER, and in all the hospital rooms just every where you turn there is a huge flat screen tv, then smaller ones in other areas.
I don't know if this has anything to do with what OP is talking about but interesting either way.
I think if the SHTF we will be more dependent on radios rather then tvs.
I think with these things, only time will tell no one will know for sure why certain things are happening you'll have everyone and their mother coming up with theories but will never know for sure until they happen or like many cases in the past, don't happen.
It could just be because we are a world that is addicted to the big and pretty electronics and so on.
I'm just really scared that if something does happen soon, I am virtually screwed as I am pretty much disabled right now and have many major operations coming up that will leave me in the hospital for a very long time and very dependent on other people, there's all kinds of survival guides out there for the able body healthy person to survive everything from NWO to zombie invasions, but there's nothing for people who are sick or disabled, I guess even to the non evil person we're seen as dead weight and lost causes.

Also, if you do a google search on flat screens you'll see numbers of posts all over from people complaining about flat screens being everywhere and a lot of them mention CNN being on them, most of these people are ones who don't even think twice about the possible meaning behind it all.

Also another thing, doctors offices and main waiting rooms have rules on the channels they are and are not allowed to have on their tv ABC is not allowed on and a few other stations.
This could be because of some of the inappropriate things on soap operas but maybe that's just an excuse.
I didn't know they could dictate what tv people watch but I guess they can.

Hello Rosa,

If you can add more locations to the list of propaganda I'd appreciate it
..

I don't believe every single peron is sitting down and watching these stations but it's getting close to it. As we go about our daily lives the repetative message soaks in... another little drip everyday.

We have to remember that our minds capture this information even if we are not aware of it and I know these NWO creeps are counting on us not to notice.

They have it all planned out to. ...I've also noticed that they've gone so far as to accomodate the hearing impaired with Closed Captioned features turned on all of these TVs.

Yes anti,

Every Bank, Car Wash, Laundromat, and Fruit Stand is piped into yours truly CNN or Fox News.

Someone has gone through lots of trouble to make sure that I can watch these channels when I get my oil changed... Will they try for the Traffic Lights next?,

that would likely send me over the edge
