I thought mine was on topic, but apparently I now support Al Gore and Obama and his socialist regime, or something like that. It's news to me.

I don't like the MSM and the way they skew things on the left or the right. Clips like this just reinforce my opinion that the MSM is not working for us, just like our politicians. That's all I was trying to say.

Nice try to derail this even more, where did i specifically say so?...

BTW, have ANY of you who want an "unbiased news source" realized that you are reading "The Huffington Post" a LIBERAL = leftist news source which happens to be biased towards leftist ideas?....

EVERY news source has a bias...nice to see that The Huffington Post, and it's creators and journalists twist things even more trying to claim they are unbiased, and that Fox News is "evil"...

you are obviously here for a fight and a fight only. i would feel comfortable calling you a troll.

i made a comment about the size of you feet and its a personal attack?
it comes across as spinelessness on your behalf.

So now I am a troll?.... You give total credibility to a LEFTIST website trying to claim that News Fox is not unbiased, when everyone knows Fox News is a conservative news source, hence it will be biased towards conservative, and Republican points of view...Meanwhile your Huffington Post is BIASED towards LIBERAL, or leftist points of view...

Nice try to call me a troll when you were the one name calling.

Oh the laughable irony and hypocrisy: an established and known far left internet media source trying to out a center-right dominating worldwide news media outlet.

FoxNews: 1
Huffington Post: 0

Hey Seekeroff, I guess The Huffington Post does not have left leaning biases towards politics, or any other issue, and they don't show it in their articles heh?...

I wonder why a far left leaning news source would make these claims about a conservative/Republican news source.... hummm

I know what you mean.

Kind of like a cat fight.

Should have ogtten some popcorn and soda before reading this thread, it's very amusing to watch.....

I just have one question for the OP, in one of your resposes you meantioned someone's size 6 shoes, what's so wrong with size 6 shoes? And what does it really have to do with the topic you posted?

I got out of the media biz becauseit was too biased and too demanding on my morals. I couldn't sit around and watch good story after good story be buried becuase of the advertizing dollars demanding it. They all do it, papers, tv, radio, so what is so amazing about Fox doing it? That question still hasn't been answered by you and I await that.

It's kind of like the story of the New England Patriots being caught spying on another team to learn their plays, I'm betting all the teams do it, just one got caught and a frenzy appeared. Doesit mean noone else ever did it? NO it just means as of yet, or because of a bias, they have not been caught. Fox seems to take a ton of beating when it really is no better or worse than the other major "news outlets" and now more than ever because at least here (I really have no care where you live or what you care about as far as our government goes) there are laws being proposed every day to silence the opposition parties and ideas.

As for socialist or communist? I'm beginning to think that Obama is a facist.

(phew, enough for now)

If FOX News has nothing to hide nor an agenda, then why does it not show the complete video footage?

Its Propaganda 101 to take a quote and edit it or only show a short portion of it taken out of context to destroy the original speakers credibility.

I don't care if you hate the liberal media - you should still find this sort of manipulation as a form of brainwashing.

I love it when people try to post 'serious' information from sources like Huffington Post.

Biased much?

Meh.. I watched the vid on the link.. nothing really surprising.. only on the last example in the video did it even distort what was being said.

And I would bet my left foot that every news channel in the World does this.....

i am sure that you know the answer to that!
plz if your going to opon up the book, open the full book and to each and every page if you get my drift!

.........

Because no news channel does...they have many topics that they discuss, and many times cannot have more than a minute, or a couple minutes on any one topic...

This would be like claiming for example, in the case of Emmanuel Rham's statement about "we should not allow a good crisis pass us by" ( or something similar) that was not the only thing Emmanual Rham said, he continued talking trying to blur that statement about "never letting pass a GOOD crisis".

If some people mention just that part of Emmanuel Rham's statement, does it mean they are trying to hide the rest of his statement?... no... they are just trying to make a point, and that particular statement says it all...

You shouldn't be making a mountain out of a grain of salt...and much more when a leftist website is making these claims, obviously for political issues.

This same news source, the Huff has made several similar claims of Fox News, this is not the only one.. These people ahve nothing noteworthy to post, hence they make claims about a rival news source, and more so with the current administration also trying to silence conservative news, and talk host shows..

EU, if they showed just a snippet of the quote or a soundbite, it would be one thing - Fox News isn't doing that, they are "cherry-picking" quotes and taking them out of context - with the agenda of painting the speaker as somehow devious. It's flagrant manipulation. If you hate the liberal media like CNN or Huffington Post then expose them for doing the same video manipulation.

Fox News shouldn't be given a pass becasue you hate the liberal media. Fox News got caught, red-handed, manipulating video footage or cherry-picking quotes to paint a view of a speaker or political figure the way they wanted to portray them. How sad is it that we viewers have to fact-check the news because they skew reports with their bias.

If you want to fact-check CNN or Huff Post and call them out for the same manipulation then speak out. Just cause "the other" guy does it is no excuse to fabricate news. Leave that to Jon Stewart as part of his satire. Real news is not supposed to do this. Fox News is not real news. It lies.

CNN, Fox, NY Times, WashingtonPost, they are all lying to us. It's no wonder that when one of these "news" channels breaks a story no one cares. No on e believes it.

you said the following:
"In this same bill all children starting from junior high through hih school MUST make MANDATORY COmmunity Service for 50 hours every year.
All College students are REQUIRED to do 100 hours a year of mandatory COmmunity service under this bill, and this does not end there. "

Note that you emphasized MUST and MANDATORY.

I'm just curious where you got this information from. I've been trying to track this down for a while and have had no luck at all. With you emphasis I assume you have a good source. I would hope that you are not posting unverified information and presenting it as fact.

Please help me to locate a reliable source for this information. This is important to me, as it should be to all Americans. However, all I can seem to find is the echo-chamber effect, where one unverified rumor has become the mantra across many web sites.

It's fun to look at the real clips and then the cropped clips isn't it?

But, cropping audio and video clips has been going on forever, and the media's excuse is so they can fill the allotted time of the news segment. Of course, this gives PLENTY of leeway to sway the mind of the viewer or listener.

But it is an artform --knowing what to crop at any given time because your segment goes on in 10 minutes (or whatever).

Some of it is harmless, and we all know that much of it is not.

In my opinion, I don't think they should be allowed to crop it.

makes it obvious why so many people are so negative when it comes to Obama.

Ya this is why many are negative regarding Obama
It has nothing to do with economic fascism
Has nothing to do with illegal bailouts
Stimulus packages that prolonged the great depression
Talking Change but never have defined it
Has a better rhetoric in regards to foreign policy, yes, but within so many limits. Like a guy having a gun at your head but speaking diplomatically.

No it has nothing to do with that
Thanks for the video!
I was truly enlightened

They ALL crop and spin and take out of context and worse!
I haven't read all the posts and am sorry if this has been discussed already but do you think this has something to do with fox not airing obama's speech recently?

Doesn't the left do this all the time? Obviously Fox is a right wing operation. But Huffington Post is the pot calling the kettle black. Especially when you consider that the Huffington Post is at times extreme left wing, I could give you the same of MSNBC and CNN...I mean look what happened when CNN "stopped rolling" during the tea parties...did Huffington Post carry that as a show of media bias...oh don't be so naive
