Britain Sleep Walks Into a Police State as Political Dissent is Criminalised

rinf.com

Since the start of April, some 300 people have been arrested and detained in just three police operations. The vast majority of these were rounded up in two of these operations, both focusing on a supposed threat to “public order”.

Maintaining public order is now a pseudonym for the criminalising of political dissent.

Even before the G20 summit of world leaders began in London, five people were arrested in Plymouth under the Terrorism Act, reportedly accused of possessing “material relating to political ideology”.

All were released without charge, but the fact that political activism is considered a criminal offence in 21st century Britain was subsequently writ large on the streets of the capital.

Material relating to political ideology = terrorism.

Protesting = terrorism.

How long before simply disagreeing with the government = terrorism?

Not too long I fear, since only recently a member of the opposition was falsey arrested and police used this to search his computer for e-mails from Shami Chakrabarti the current head of Liberty.

FIT (Forward Intellegence Team) officers are regularly present at major protests to record the events, and faces recorded are held in a database of political dissidents.

This is a shameful state of affairs, and I hope that the public do not stand for it. I hope that the press interest in the events surrounding the G20 protests does not fade. This is something that needs to be remembered.

The public here are ANGRY. They are angry in a way I have not seen in many years. And so they should be!

I can see why we are sleep-walking into it when there are more posts about obesity than there are about a police state.

Yes, because people who are overweight are more important.............

More important than your rights.

More important than your freedom.

What happened here in the uk in the last few weeks is less important than fat people farting.

Stop being sheep.

Its going to take a general strike and never ending protest to set things right all over the place. Why aren't enough people noticing and taking their voices to the streets as it is. Just a few decades ago this would have been met with opposition. We are enablers unless we stop this now. And the codex is around the corner.

The poorer people become, the more frightened they become about the future, the less secure they feel, the less likely it is for them to protest or do anything in their own defense.

When you add the Codex into that, the chemicals people ingest on a near daily basis that rob them of initiative, drive, and self assuredness you do get a double wammy.

What always gives any government an edge and any criminal will gladly tell you this is that the government is a 24/7, 365 day a year operation.

You can protest a day, you can protest a week, you can protest a month but like the Casinos in Las Vegas their strategy is to simply wear you down. They will happily let you win a hand here or there because they know in the end you are going to loose it all, because you just don't have the ability to compete with them 24/7/365.

It's why the PTB can almost always count on winning when it comes to people just protesting, complaining or lamenting.

They are the driver in the driver seat that really doesn't care you want to stop to get a bite to eat or use the restroon. They are in control and they are going to keep driving in the direction towards the destination at the pace that they want to because of it.

It's going to take more than protests.

David Icke tried to warn everyone and I've heard many British people call him a "nutter".

Well a mighty oak was only just a nut that held it's ground.

As every decade goes by more and more of what David Icke and many of the other "Conspiracy Nuts" claimed would happened if enough people didn't wake up would happen has happened and America is next and almost there as well.

Welcome to the NEW WORLD ORDER folks.

Enjoy your stay.

It's hard watching the majority of people sleeping on the train tracks all the while seeing the train barreling down almost on top of them.

When the public is unarmed, this sort of thing is so much easier to accomplish.

I think that people who run countries think that since they are in a position to, they can just get together and convince themselves that oppression is ok and will work, but it wont, i think deep down they know it. Yet i see why they did this. They are all over the world getting ready for the "Beast System" A robot run world where the elites dont have to worry about a thing because robots will kill you for breaking the law. Or just arrest you painfully.

So we have for our fearless leaders a list of qualities they are exemplifying for us to see, and guage.

They are cowards, they are cruel. They like to inflict pain. they use morals as angle and excuse. They exploit, deny, accuse. These fearless ones. They are nothing. And will always be nothing. Even when they are perceivebly everything.

which makes me the coolest person who ever did live.

the end.

In uk just wanting to live your life, is terrorism, and not having to do with anyone.

This is happening today, and will only get worse, to this joke country now.

I know its easy to throw the U.S. in with the U.K. when it comes to throwing our fates away. Only difference is we have a few more guns laying around then they do here and people know how to use them.

One good thing to come out of the current MP expenses scandal is that people are seeing that both main parties are just corrupt and dishonest as each other.
The old line of "we'll get them out at the next election" no longer holds out much hope when both major political parties have been shown to be so deeply mired in corruption. I see, and hear, more and more people voicing their disgust with the whole damned bunch and the system that allows them to flourish.

Maybe this expenses issue will be a turning point in uniting people in their dissent, and remove the ridiculous, and politically serving, partisan lines. We need a new way of governing and to clear out the current crop of self serving career politicians and the old boy network that pull their strings. Only if this is done can we truly change the way the country is run and roll back the damage to the country, and society, that has been done.

They fear us, for without us they are nothing. If we unite and just say no to them then what are going to do? Arrest us all? It they who have shown that they break the laws by which we are judged and should therefore be removed from power and, where necessary, jailed for their greed and dishonesty.

Arrest everyone? Of course not.

They only have to arrest enough of you to scare all the sheeple back in line - which is what this issue is all about. The average sheeple constantly muttering to themselves, "Maybe they just won't notice me ...".
