www.youtube.com...

This thing is obviously burning up. It is wild because it clearly changes directions. Also looks like a Space Ship dropping one of its stages, but I have never seen a Space Ship change directions so dramatically. The videographer seems to think it is a damaged UFO. What do you think?

could this have been something being towed by a small aircraft, like one of those advertizing banners you see during the day? it seemed to be traveling at a slow pace.

I think it is old, has been posted somewhere around here before and that it is most likely a man made pyrotechnic attached to some kind of flying vehicle being controlled by a person(remotely or otherwise).

I have never seen it before and it looks to be epending a lot of flames. I thoght it was very interesting to see. It does look like a meteorite, but I guess it all depends on the flight heighth. I gues I would thinik it was a UFO if I saw it in person, not knowing any better.

The explanation I heard that seems to make a lot of sense is that it is a night time parachute jump. The parachutist has a flame canister attached to his foot.

Never would've thought of that. Again, I guess it all depends on how close the object is. But a sky diver would be able to make turns like that.

The original video would be this one

it has has also the original audio:

Skydiving with flares:

this is the video of a performance (night jump with flares) which took place in the SAME location (Piracicaba) the SAME day: the author of the jump is Mauro Escolano, a specialist with this stuff.

Here's an interesting video:

here you can see where the flares are positioned: needless to say, here the flares have a more thin appearance because of the speed acquired after the jump, in free fall, and perhaps were also smaller ones: in Piracicaba there are at least two fields specialized in this stuff: this one and this one.
