I'm a fan of Jason Bermas. I call into the show and spread tid bits all the time.

I dont here his voice here, Like I originally said I video thread with veterans re-swearing to the Constitution would be more aprrapo.

Yeah, I didn't know... just throwing it out there. Didn't remember his name, but "LC" didn't get too much play in my circle. Don't know why, but that's off topic.

I like your idea for the video, but like I've said before... Dangerous times. I don't know if I'd put my face on something like YouTube. I like staying under the radar as much as I can.

Just as I got done flaming, I read your other post and laughed.

Semper FI brother.

Without deprogramming, most will never come out of it.

have you any documentation on this patriotic killing machine psyche?
The system itself being chalenged? do you have some info to share?

I dont think Marines are any more brainwashed than a sailor moon fanatic, or a typical person. It is all independent experiences that affect Vet's when they come home. I know Marines that are awake, and some who wont bother to go past fart and tit jokes on the net.

Careful treading theese waters, unless your a Marine (like me) I will be very closed to any attacks or outside opinions.

I was waiting for this response. If you dont understand sleep deprivation, food deprivation, sensory overload and overeggertion of the body are tools proven to be succesful in braiwashing, then I have nothing more to say.

The fact is, the marines our our elite fighting force (obviously not on the same level as green beret, etc, but they are the front line). Theyre entire training is based on combat and killing in the name of patriotism.

All branches of the military use forms of brainwash in basic and advaned trainings, but the marines is a far more intensive program.

And to be honest (and not to be rude, although it will come across that way), I could care less about treadinglightly on this subject. I dont care if I offend a marine, of any other serviceman or woman. This is my opinion, backed up by months and months of research, and I dont expect any serviceperson to agree with me. Afterall, you guys are in it. Its much tougher to see throught the shades from the inside.

And dont get me wrong, I am not a military hater either. im not someone who spits on troops. In fact, I generally thank them when I can. But I also am nothing if not honest.

So what, am I just going to automatically become an establishment robot the moment TSHTF?

Program this... It's a FACT that Marines are taught to think, specifically NOT to be a "robot". Did I somehow miss the "Manchurian Candidate" portion of recruit training? Maybe it just never made it to 3Bn, it is kind of in the boonies...

I'm sorry, but people like YOU are the brainwashed ones. Just because you could never do what we do, does not give you the right to think we are only ruthless, unquestioning killing machines. We get the job done, then go on with the rest of our lives. Being a marine changed me, but for the most part in good ways.

I personally can name nearly a platoon strength group of brothers and sisters that are like minded with me.

Stop making irresponsible statements and sweeping generalizations.

You're taking my words out of context, and doing a poor job at it. You can name your platoon of marines that are awake. So that would make what, less than 1% of all marines?
Thanks for proving my point.

Thanks man, it's good to see somebody that understands the crucial nature of military and veteran support for anything to happen at all.

I disagree with the statement about current recruits.

I have a young friend of the family that is at MCRD PISC right now. I know the kid has a decent head on his shoulders- he was forced to work with another brother and me all summer! I've written him a few "mot" letters and have spoken to his mom.

I was RTR at the end of my time- You jarheads probably know what that is. I still know some folks that are career Marines (involved in training these recruits) who would be inclined to disagree that the Marines that are leaving San Diego and Buford are dangerous to anybody other than enemies of the Constitution of the United States, foreign and domestic.

Fantastic example: My sister's ex husband is a marine in san diego....and he is her ex because he is prone to fits of violent rage. Coincidence?

Also, I now have to ask, what enemies of the constitution are the marines in iraq fighting right now? Hmmmm....hole in your logic there, huh

Another perfect example of what I am talking about.

"Unless you are a marine, I will be closed to any outside opinions."

How can you not see the absolute inward thinking and brainwashing behind a line of thought like that?

I Understand and you are correct. Plenty of great men and women out there who know what they are getting into.

However,

We now have a nation of youth, who are lost...confused and signing up for the money. I know a handful who have, and those kids spent plenty of nights with me soaking in some truth to the matter.

A few of these kids were flat out scary. They have no clue how real it can get and it happens fast when you are deployed.

I tried, and tried with a specific individual. But he was just hell bent on killing. The sad part was, he knows of the world agenda, but lost himself when he lost his job and his woman said, "How are we going to eat."

This scenario is playing out perfect for the globalist.

You lose your job and come and work for us doing our dirty work, oh, and never mind the constitution, that's just a damn piece of paper we threw out after them damn towel heads blew up our damn buildings."

You know what I'm saying...It's the good versus the bad

Cautiouslypessimistic: Right... Here's the part where you baited me into getting all mad at you personally for stating your opinion, yadda yadda yadda...

There's not going to be a way for me to convince you.

Don't worry about the Marines. If anything, try to befriend a few, then find them when TSHTF. If you can follow simple instruction quickly and precisely, you may live.

Good night! (Hums the Marine Hymn and drifts to sleep).

Naw, you have already turned it poersonally onto me, and told me that since I am not a marine, you are closed to my opinion.

You have proven my point more clearly than I ever could.

Dude I asked you for sighted info and sources, and despite you were waiting for my question, and because you have no care for the persons being spoke of (I WONT TRED LIGHTLY)

All the sleep dep and all that BS sounds like life to me. Sounds like when I was a kid, many others have it worse.

WHat this boils down to is you being argumentative, and despite"months of research" you provided no sources, and less credibility. I was asking because I always wondered if anyone ever reasearched this, or had more than a soft boiled, single minded Op.

Cmon bro, I want to see FACTS. show me the documents.

Semper Fi, I love all my fellow man, and I would die for you, but I am better living for you.. Brainwash THAT

No such thing... That Marine walked down a dark road of depresion and takes it out on his loved ones.
Thats not about being a Marine. True Marines hold a higher standard, and share love.. Puppies and kittens.

Its all about independent experience. Very sorry for the violent rages, but I'm sure that if its PTSD or "brainwash" to some, its really just a nother person, lowering their standard. If they are a Marine who is a crap, then it must be the Marines that is the problem? no its just them.

Seriously... If you don't know what you're speaking about , simply don't speak. I,... Like the rest of my brothers on here (Active & Inactive) Swore an Oath and take it pretty seriously. If you're Ignorant of a subject , don't post and let everyone know it. The only thing worse than someone who is ignorant is a "repeater" They heard or read something that sounded plausible (Because of ignorance) and they repeat it as fact (Without Researching the truth) . Don't be that guy.

I hope this is true. I really do. What the American People need is the military on their side. Not the side of a government that more often than not just throws them away despite what sacrifices they may have made.

Someone in this thread said:

"If the United States falls, the world falls. Sorry, but you all know that it is true. ."

Not at all! - hubris much?

After some initial turmoil and hardships - the world will keep on going, like it has done for thousands of years before the birth of the USA.

USA is not the God given center of the Earth, it is an (temporarily) imperial state of the timeline of history.

In his famous analysis of world history - 'the history that is never taught in schools' - the late Sir John Glubb pointed out that during the last 3000 years of recorded history the life-span of succeeding 'empires' has remained at a more or less constant average of 250 years, ten generations sufficing, in his words, 'to transform the enterprising pioneer into the captious citizen of the welfare state'. The sequence each time is roughly the same: conquest, commerce, affluence, intellectualism, decadence. During the last stages of decadence and decline, an empire’s people often admire and emulate the athletes, musicians, and actors generally regardless of how corrupt their private lives are.

The nation ---Date of rise and fall---Duration in years

Assyria 859-612 B.C --- 247 years

Persia - Cyrus 538-330 B.C --- 208 years

Greece - Alexander 331-100 B.C --- 231 years

Roman Republic 260-27 B.C --- 233 years

Roman Empire 27 B.C.-AD.180 --- 207 years

Arab Empire A.D. 634-880 --- 246 years

Mameluck Empire 1250-1517 --- 267 years

Ottoman Empire 1320-1570 --- 250 years

Spain 1500-1750 --- 250 years

Romanov Russia 1682-1916 --- 234 years

Britain 1700-1950 --- 250 years

(The Nordic 'Vikings' didn't have an Empire "per se" but they roamed around for 273 years)

The Nordic Viking Age 793-1066 --- 273 years

With 3000 years of recorded history the life-span of succeeding 'empires' has remained at a more or less constant average of 250 years.

This is beginning to be interesting! Let's take a look at the "so called" American "Empire" Age

The United States of America 1776 + 250 years = 2026 A.D. ?

dariusthemede.tripod.com... - The fate of Empires.

en.wikipedia.org...

www.biblestudy.org... Sorry! biblestudy information source

As for the future! I only hope for a soft landing for some of the great Americans friends I know, and I'm always proud to call them good friends of mine - and therefore I wish them the best during these hard times.

Welcome to the New World Socialistic Order, where all the developed nations will be more or less equal for a short time in history before the next Empire comes along! - the birth of the Great Chinese/Asian Empire?

Or will it be a 'New World Order Green Tech/Economy Utopia' this time instead of an 'Empire' to rule the world and to drive the world economy?

But for now! New Rules! - New Playing fields!

Soo! Play nice and share the boll!
