I see it as a community where some like to better get to know their neighbors, as well as share themselves a bit. You are right I reckon', some is for attention too, maybe for the opposite sex, maybe because it is more personable(name to a face). Like it or not, this is a conspiracy site and a type of social network, for better or worse I suppose. It comes with the territory of social gatherings I guess.
Privacy? Well the degree is up to the individuals no? And genuine anonymity left last decade. As an ATS member, you probably realize that. S'all good though...

I don't know why this bothers you.

It's obvious the ones posting aren't all that concerned about privacy. The ones who truly want to remain anonymous do. They never talk about their location and they dont post their face.

There are many members who dont mind posting that information. I dont care if people know Im in FL and what I look like. It isn't that big of a deal to me.

There is lots left to show!
