How did you find this?

You can see the same image on google earth.

Just some quick measurements...
(All measurements are approximate, using google earth ruler)

The "swastika" and outer circle measure .2 miles across.
The inner circle measures .1 mile across.
Both circles appear to be perfect.

The "pyramid" measures .02 miles across.
The circle surrounding it is .05 miles.
Its sides face the cardinal directions NSEW , as do the straight lines of the other figures.

The boat is .15 miles long (E-W) and .05 miles wide (N-S)

By comparison, the Great Pyramid is .16 miles

So is this of modern man or not?

They're probably easier to find out the meaning of, but we can't see them well enough. If I could see the symbols, I could get a translation.

The whole thing screams of sunworship, though, and I KNOW I've seen the symbol that's a square with an X in it before. At first I thought it was one of the "hobo signs" but it's not. Still looking.

I know what it was- I've seen that symbol as a simplification of the "Davinci Man".

Makes me wonder if its a tourist trap for people that visit
Roswell? Its with in 75 miles could take a helicopter tour to see this
( if they have that there )

Well, the symbols are alot more detailed on google earths images.

And my previous post is kinda incorrect then. =)
And yeah, now it looks kinda like a warship. But is it?

Who knows, I am more curious of why it is printed into the New Mexico desert.

OMG- everyone who has said swastika I totally agree yet depending on opinion the swastika is merely the center of the
Thule Black Sun symbol, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it might actually be the Vril society but i think its Thule society. The real Nazis worshiped some crazy stuff.

As far as I know the Swastika is in the other direction, atleast the nazi one.

I think the Zeitgeist movieclip bring this up that the nazi swastika is a backward symbol of the sun.

Apparently it seem to be a simple target practice area for bombers and combat jet.

An Airforce base is around that area.

I'm pretty sure i've seen that boat shape like that before, on a bombing range. It's is a crappy drawing of a ship, but i'm pretty sure it is. You can even see the turrets.

I don't know about those other shapes though....

Looks like an old World War 2 bombing range to me. Nazi, ships errr.. that's enough clues oh and Lubbock Airbase just up the road.

I must admit I'm an old pilot type who recognised this low tech range and guess it was used by B17 and B24 for Norden Bomb Site practise.

That has to be a battleship bombing target. the outter shape matches and the symbols inside look like gun turretts mounted fore and aft 2 barrels on each. The shape is also roughly 800ft end to end consistent with the average length of a battleship. Could it be a practice target for something like say the Bismark?

Not really a big deal, but why would a ship target be drawn inside of a rectangle like that

The other stuff looks like it could a target simulating missle silos or something similair, and the square with an X might just be a plain old crosshair to aim at

Agree with Phaedrus.

Those patterns on the ground are used to test the accuracy level of the bombers

so technicaly nothing really "Alien-ish"

If it was a bombing range wouldn't there be bomb craters? I don't see anything that indicates any bombs being dropped.

Maybe it is a bombing range upon second glance. I guess that could be a bomb crater near the edge. It is hard to tell.

Ok everyone it is a bombing circle. The one at the top is a ship (Boat) the one on the right is a factory. I have seen this alot in my line of work. So don't freak out they use this for practice in dropping inert bombs.

If you're looking at the topographical map, I don't understand how you could not see that the ground looks like someone just shot a holes in swiss cheese with buckshot.

Definitely looks like a bomb testing ground

You're not the first to find this sort of stuff out in the desert, out in the barren wastes of New Mexico and Nevada is where our government and military go to be alone. They own a whole boatload of territory out in the desert where they essentially do whatever they want, include carve triangles, hexagrams, build massive runways, and test every sort of weapon imaginable. This looks to be part of some sort of testing range.

Here's another fairly well-known set of coordinates (this one not so far from Area 51 in NV)

37°24'6.01"N, 116°52'4.60"W

No one knows what the government could be doing in the desert and these images only give us hints, imagine the huge facilities they've got underground

the burnt marks are usualy the proof of "trainings" bombs , rockets,missiles etc.

proof of incendiary bombs too (particulary on the "ship").

and for information: usualy after training, when the area is way to much disfigured, they just send some guys to re fill the holes made by bombings

If those are government markings, I have to wonder what their obsession with the sun is. In both the OP's symbols, and this on, the sun symbolism is obvious.
