A friend of mine posted this on myspace, and it just struck a chord with me.
If all of this is true, it poses some evidence that SOMEONE is writing our history. Please prove it wrong.

"American History Mystery.....
Have a history teacher explain this----- if they can..

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.

John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.

John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.

Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.

Both Presidents were shot in the head

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.

Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln .

Both were assassinated by Southerners.

Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln , was born in 1808.

Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln , was born in 1839.

Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939

Both assassins were known by their three names.

Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now, HANG ON TO YOUR SEAT!

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.
'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln ' made by 'Ford.

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.

Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the kicker...

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe , Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe."

Lol, wow that's cool. No explination, but they are alot of coincidences. I don't think anyone is writting our history, but maybe someone has a weird sense of humour when it comes to deciding who will be the president?

A quick "ATS search" will bring back more than a few threads that already discuss this topic.

Here is just one from 2006...

Nothing is coincidence.

This particular instance just seems like more than coincidence.

There is no such thing as coincidence.

Everything happens for a reason, maybe you have hit the proverbial "tip of the iceberg."

Hmmm would this have anything to do with the "Shawnee Curse" ??? *plz excuse spelling if it's wrong

I dont remember all the details off the top of my head but i do remember there bieng links between when said people were elected and put into office in relation to the date and time when they were killed.....

Does anyone have any more info about this.....

plus i guess there is some kind of connection between these dates and certain masonic dates in history, could be worth looking into

Sorry, but Marilyn Monroe died August 1962. A year before the assassination. Lincoln, as far as anyone knows, never had a secretary named Kennedy.

There might be some coincidences after you do the research on all those things, but be careful of people adding things in later to hype up the story.

Also, in Lincoln's case I'm not sure hiding in some farmer's shed counts as a warehouse.

You forgot that, both the Johnson's were from the south.
They were both very unpopular.

And even though Lincoln was the first Republican President,Andrew Johnson was not the second Republican President. Andrew Johnson was a Democrat.

Even stranger he was from Tennessee which had succeeded from the union during the Civil War.

Weird little known facts of our country's history.
