This is the kind of research grants need to be given to. I am a paraplegic and know what they guy went through as I am going through it now. It is amazing what happens in this world. Maybe we shouldn't look at stem sells as the cure all but the natural world around us.

Part of the problem is that doctors are becoming more and more reliant on what, in programming, are called Hero Systems. Essentially, these are computers that just about every hospital has. You plug in vitals and symptoms, it spits out possible diagnoses. The problem arises that not every disease/illness manifest exactly the same way in every person. A computer can't look at these symptoms and view them the same way a human can, so the computer can misdiagnose or discount an illness that shouldn't be discounted. What we really need are fewer Hero Systems and more Doctor Gregory House's.

Perhaps the venom actually mildly damaged the nerves, and the damage was noticed by the body and worked to repair the damage. Sort of like when you lift weights, you're actually breaking down the muscle fiber but it repairs and becomes better than it was before.

injured horses are deliberately injured some more to promote a healing reaction.

otherwise they would have to be put down...maybe paraplegics should have the same done to them...

the trouble is paraplegics are wrapped in cotton wool and never suffer any injuries so they never get a healing reaction to a subsequent injury...

click on the venom link if you have suffered spider/snake bites.
