Hey, I have a good question!
I went to upload a Vcast, and it uploaded fine, but when I went to play it it played super fast and the audio was off kilter. Any suggestions? It was originally an MOV file.

Mov files are Quicktime. This is written at the upload page:

NOTE: Some QuickTime videos with heavily compressed audio tracks may result in loosing sync between the audio and video tracks when converted to FLASH.

...So, I guess that's the reason

All the sudden I kept getting redirected to ads.

although i'm really interested in the groups thing, i'm kinda scared to apparently make the first one since it says there are no others lol.

are we considering science as part of technology for say channel-wise and category-wise?

edit: can we upload files of like pictures from say nasa or other space exploration organizations? and how do we do that? save the file to our hdd and then upload from there or from like a photobucket account?

I have a question/suggestion though. Does our personal blog content have to adhere to the same T&Cs as the forum does?

I would like to suggest that the answer to that be "no", and that somewhere in plain site a disclaimer to the tune of "ATS is not responsible for the content herein" ...Of course I'm not suggesting it become a free-for-all of sin and shady activity - regional laws must still apply. I just thought it would be better if we could sound off in our personal space about things that might be forbidden on the main board.

Even if that's not how it ends up, this is a great step forward - many kudos!!!

apparently my pictures taken with a nikon d40 are too large to upload. i wanted everyone to see my pretty cloud pictures!

Is there a way to post pics & vids in someone's comments section at MATS? I just tried the [ ATS ] tag with negative results.

Another suggestion: a multi-photo-uploader, like the ones Photobucket, Flickr and MySpace et al have. I can see it being frustrating if someone has a series of pics to share.

You can do that! I just uploaded a bunch of avatars I have made for ATSers!
