Michigan about 50 miles from the main portion of the Michigan Militia. I dont know any of them though.

I just hope when they come with the Sheriff Deputies in a few months my friends on the Sheriff dept refuse to through us out.

I doubt it though.

Edit to add: I can survive, my wife though is a city kind of girl. Ex model that was a cosmetics district manager. She will die...I know she will her heart just wont take it.

I left her a few years back and had to come back because she just couldn't take it.

This is the type of information that will start the Revolution. Your story is honorable and the people responding to it relate. WE will not stand for the injustice being done to people who have helped build the United States and now they are getting the cold shoulder.

God bless you for saying that. I have been trying to keep her from losing it, this morning I thought she was going into cardiac arrest her anxiety went so high when she woke up and the reality hit.

Squat in your own home.

It's absurd to say that the people of this nation can construct enough homes for all of us to live in, but in doing so, not be paid enough to buy the very things we constructed.

Just think about that premise.

Imagine going off into the woods in the 1800s with nothing but a saw and your bare hands, and constructing a log cabin for yourself. You would own it, right? Now imagine the same scenario, except that this time you are working for a company that builds them, and you get paid for your labor. In this situation, lets imagine that you built two log cabins, got paid, but when it came time to buy a log cabin with the money you made building the other two, it wasn't enough to buy just 1 for yourself. See the difference?

Corporations and government are nothing but "labor pimps." They hire the masses to do the dirty work, and pay them with money that buys fewer products than must be created to earn that money.

"You build 3 homes, and I'll pay you enough money to buy 1," in other words.

The working people of this nation are getting the short end of the stick.

Is this not just the old Capitalist v Communist debate dressed up in another guise?!?!

If everyone walked into a forest and built their own log cabin (to use your analogy) we'd have no tress left on this planet. How would you stop people taking more than their fair share of wood etc etc.

What are a few rifles going to do against Abrams tanks, Apache Helicopters, F22's, B17's and cluster bombs? The hole idea of a militia is long out dated.

Your weapon is your voice and your vote.

The man voted in for the previous two terms as president was a fool....as were the majority that put him there.

Fool me once, shame on you(bush term one).

Fool me twice, shame on me(bush term two).

So we were fooled twice and learned our lesson.
Funny how the Christian right wingers fled as soon as they realized Bush put our economy down the toilet......then flushed it 3 or 4 times!! It's a long way to Iraq...

Now we have a president with some smarts. Someone that can put two or more sentences together and make something coherent and understandable.

Give him a chance. Stop fearing socialism....it's the super rich that want you to fear social programs like medicare, free education for all, housing for all, a basic income, etc.

If you want to revolt, revolt against the few who hoard billions of dollars made off the hard earned pennies from hard working average Americans.

Hey, there is nothing wrong with earning some extra cash, but put some back into the country that gave you the opportunity to make that cash. No one person should have billions of dollars no matter what they invented. We are all part of a collective and we all need to give to the collective so that all of us can live with our needs met. With our needs met, self improvement, educating ourselves, and working for bettering ourselves and the collective is soooo much easier and enjoyable.

The Dog eat Dog world has to stop. We all need to look out for each other.

Apply American ingenuity to social/economic reform...that's all I am saying here....and forget playing soldier to get what you don't even know what!!

There are many small groups of constitutionalists organized into small cells.

There is no reason to be in larger groups due to OPSEC and the reality of 5th gen war. Taking on trained organized, massed force head to head is suicide. It's all about shoot'n'scoot.

The citizens are armed to the teeth as we can see from the continuing post-Obama election gun buying frenzy. What do you think that is for? They aren't buying guns and ammo to hunt ducks...

A spark would start a fire.

I think a concern of the globalists at this point is they realize our military is on the side of the Constitution as well...

Join an existing chapter or make your own chapter of KISSATA. Kissata guys are real deal patriots and openly organize on a national level. Not for the armchair survivalist.

KISSATA MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is an attempt to prevent America from becoming a nation of helpless cowards, and train ourselves and others to function during terrorist attack or disaster. Our focus is mainly training others, so they can go out and train others, and so on and so forth. We wish to bring skills to the average person, that could be crucial to survival should a disaster or terrorist attack cause a situation where the police and military could not come to our aid, and to deal with such situations until they arrive, in a lawful and sane manner.

KISSATA sincerely hopes to be of value in networking and bringing like minded individuals and organizations together on a national level, and bring some level of standardization to all such groups, and break away from the current situation of fragmented and secretive localized groups as they are now, and distance ourselves from the politically motivated, racists, egomaniacs, and those who engage in illegal activities.

The secret of happiness is freedom. The secret of freedom is courage.

I hope you option for the run and hide in the woods plan, til things
cool off. war is not heroic, war is not glorious, war is hell on earth.

If you really are doing it for the good of the country, then good for you,
but I am not going to go give up my life for the ppl in this country
that are for the most part not worth my life.

Ahh, could this be the meeting that sparked to why we are where we are today. Strict domestic terrorism laws loosly written, laws that trample our indivdual rights, trample the consitution, and the us vs's them mentality. This is a basic power struggle scenario here folks and the feds felt threatened that day. We can guarantee that. So soon after we have Oklahoma bombing and 9/11 then an assualt on our liberities like we've never seen before.

violence won't work.... it did in the past..but the reality is this... say you have 100,000 citizens marching towards D.C and armed.... how many soldiers do you think it would take to take them out? lets say there are 15 heli gunships..... and a few 100 troops with tanks....... who do you think has a chance? the best way to resolve it is NON COMPLIANCE ... STOP purchasing goods from corporations... abide by the constitution in its fullest and we as citizens can take back this country.. this means abandoning the fiat currency.... this means to stop supporting the federal goverment by way of the voluntary tax.......... going completly barter... that means farming... Even if the revoulution is succesfull... if we dont change the underlining principles on how we live our succesors will end up going thru the same thing....... I also say we go back to a a real direct democracy like the one that greece had... with a seperate judicial system... and all currency should be silver\gold.. no PAPER... an armed revolution simply wont work... people are too busy watching american idol to get off there ass lol.... non compliance is the key.... its peacefull no one gets hurt and the system will fall apart from within... understand that if there is armed resistance.. you will actually give the system more power.... as you will give it an excuse to increase its powers(aka 911) A good comparison would be in the 5th element.. where firing weapons at the evil only increases it size........ evil begots evil.....

Wow, I keep reading this and its amazing. I am a former Soldier and federal LEO and now a Deputy Sheriff for a small County Office.

I am survialist and believe that a time will come that you will need those skills. The BOBS are packed and ready. The wife and kids are trained and know how to take care of themselves. The whole family is close by and be at the family farm in a very short time. (Thanks for that Papa)

Most people will take care of thier own and sit and watch the world go by.
Its the ones that have not taken any time to do anything that worry me. The guys living in the big city that will run at first trouble and think you can go into the country and get yours.

Will you see troops on the streets, maybe or maybe not. Someone drops a nuke or chem round on a city. Yeah you will see em fast. Most Emergency Services can not handle a Mass Cass Event. So you will need that response.

What will you do?

Talk...Talk...Talk...

I've saw comments such as the OP's on this site time and again where immature dreamers question, "Who, what, when do we begin a revolution?" Answer is...You (specifically) don't!

The last time young people rose up in this nation and demanded that big-Gov change was the Viet-Nam protestor era. I was there. We had no internet, no cel phones, and other hi-tech devises to promolgate our uprising. But we had heart and a burning desire to shout down the hardhats who said "America, love it or leave it." with "America, change it or screw it."

We were very close to starting a revolution in the early 70's on the back of the continuation of US involvement in Viet-Nam. That is why the war ended. Big-Gov got the message, "Hell no we won't go!" The end of the war took the air out of our sails and many of us then became the sudo-capitalist dads and moms of your parents. I am 62 now and not inclined to be a revolutionary with a bunch of dreamers.

No such passion exists today in the cyber-radicals who postulate on, "...how do we begin?" or "...who goes first?" I know there are young people who are dedicated idealists and they are the ones who have a shot at turning this assault by big-Gov around. You cyber-radicals are to be pittied. If you truely want to turn this nation around, get off your duffs, put the blog aside and get out on the streets. Take your message to the people and run the risk of going to jail as many of us did so many years ago. If that's to much to ask, my suggestion to you is, "dream on little dreamer, dream on."

Those that live by the sword will die by the sword. It's as simple as that. Learn a few history lessons - and while you are at it, learn the peaceful methods of Buddhism, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Nelson M. etc. Seriously though, learn some history as to how/why your methods of violence are doomed to keep the world in violence forever.

very good question!

This is one reason I quit posting on a gun forum a few years ago. 70 to 80 million gun owners in the USA and still not any good pro 2nd amendment gun laws... They own guns, and keep voting for the same people that want to take them away, then they have the nerve to complain when they have to wait 10 days to pick up their gun?

The militias are mostly made up of sheeple just like the voting public, not only fooled but distracted with all the smoke and mirrors of daily life. The thinkers don't join because of "insert your fav conspiracy theory here". The militias that were out there are probably considered a terrorist group thanks to the patriot act. I knew a few that want to join, but did not want to be on a government list.

Besides, because of the gun laws we have allowed the government out guns us big time. So a leaderless resistance I have thought would be more appropriate.

leaderless resistance

I don't know much about Louis Beam, but have read things hinting at him in a negative light, not to sure what it was about, but the leaderless resistance I thought to be very interesting.

Nay sayers,

Yep, I'm a federal agent trying to lure in the real trouble makers that hang out on ATS....you caught me, how crafty you are. Go on.

To those who talk about this organization or that one whose members only use "legal" means of grabbing government attention are brainwashed fools. Yes, lets all play by the rules that those who seek to oppress us have laid out for us. And should they realize they gave us too much leeway and it threatens their regime they simply change the rule(laws) and poof, you're a criminal rather than a patriot. Yes, lets do exactly what our oppressors tell us to....sheeple.

Mass non compliance IS the ticket, supplemented by force as needed. So, when you refuse to pay the taxes imposed on you and they come to take your house, bring Johnny Law to evict you what do you do? Just stand by peacefully and let them take it? Is that the non compliance you speak of? I am all for non compliance as the first measure to be taken in all of this. So, when in your mind is it ok for us to use force? When the police abuse and trample the rights of citizens, when they use extortion/force/forclosure to collect taxes, come knocking during a weapons confiscation, WHEN??? I am total agreeance over the non compliance issue, I am also smart enough to see that when they are met with any real resistance we as individuals are run over by force. What would happen if they come with the law to evict you from your house and you fired on them? They would gun you down quick, and use your story in the media against our cause. Now, take the same situation, only this time the whole neighborhood comes out in force to protect their fellow Americans, what if the same situation was repeated all over the country? Things would change quickly, and the media would suddenly work to our advantage further our cause. No matter how passive your resistance you will ultimatly be met with force if you do not submit to whatever the demands are.

First of all we would not be confronted by tanks and helicopters right away. Maybe helicopters to track locations and gather info at first but that is all. Secondly, are you suggesting that we sit back passively under a government who by your own account would roll tanks and fly battleships on it's own citizens? And you guys try to call ME out as an infiltrator.

You are right....we are all slaves to the gov.

Freedom and property rights are a delusion. The constitution is antiquated and outdated. Thinking about killing people over it, or being killed for it, is a waste of time.

Social and Political reform is the answer. As Americans we should not throw the baby(socialism)out with the bath water. Capitalism has it's faults. Socialism has it's faults. Our political system, with all it's pomp, glory and it's fat cat politicians burns through too much of our money.

We should be able to come up with an entire new system that is more fair to everyone. A system that leaves no one living on the streets in poverty. A system of smaller government, less waste, and one that offers everyone free access to healthcare and education.

The American way is not a static system. It changes with the human condition. It's time to change.

Unfortunately I can foresee where this is going. There are going to be a bunch of disorganized young, exuberant kids that feel the time has come and are going to strike. The response will be overwhelming and their lives will be forfeit. The event will be too large to sweep under the rug or dismiss as a radical group and ignored. This will be the spark that gets everyone involved one way or another.

Even Dad called me last night worried about making the bills due his work slowing down and to get my opinion of the morality of doing a side job without his employer's knowledge or consent which would be grounds for termination if caught due to a non-compete contract.

Yes the time for a correction of the government by the people is drawing closer, very few can deny that, it is how that correction comes about is key. In the meantime there are far more than the unorganized militias waiting and watching very carefully to ensure things are corrected in a proper way.

No, we should not have to continue to tighten our belts after we have sucked it in as far as we can already. But before we let go of our belts to grab the nooses we have to be absolutely sure that the guys over the hill carrying the chainsaws are actually coming for the Tree of Liberty. Don't worry too much, I have it on good authority that those branches will still be as strong when the time comes.

People wonder how their names end up on terrorist watch lists

I would be very wary of stating any intention of violence against the government on a public forum such as this one, especially where half the ATSers think there is government operatives roaming around.

Just my two cents.
