In regards to the booing, you Bush supporters & apologists claim that it was embarrassing because everyone else on the planet was watching, but here's the hard cold truth. When some Americans started booing Bush, the majority of people on this planet were also booing. Good riddance Bush!

I thought it was the perfect occasion for a public booing. Hope the rest of the world saw it too. Free speech is a great thing. I don't care if it was classless. It needed to be said, out loud, in public.

AAaaah! This is my special moment!

Bush is a bum! The mass responded in an equal way. That's it.

People who lead and manipulate, who live for power and control, are on an ego trip(they are only limited by the pshycological potential of the masses they control).

In a more primitive country were dictatorship, socialism and-or communism prevail a revolution and hanging would of been quite apropriate. So Ya - Civilised!

The only true justice, he will never have recognition from the ones that matter! He is not well liked, that must cause him some kind of real injury.

Oh please, the man helped Skull and Bones destroy this nation. He has never taken responsibility for it, and yet demanded it from all other nations. He set up black sites, black courts, torture, stomped the Constitution, etc, and people STILL cry for him because he got booed.

# him, he did that himself. He may not have personally killed as many people here as he did as Saddam, but his lies did. Oh wait, then there's Zapata Oil's drug connection, the oil industry connection....so that means when we monopolized the economy on oil and the prices went up and it crashed us, hey who gave a rat's ass?

But hey, he's rich, and a politician and the President...let's all throw out the First Amendment and be SILENT as Bill O'Reilly and Goebbels said to do, and NOT mention the bull# he screwed us on. Of course, who needs free speech to condemn a leader who willingly destroys a nation for his own greed, I mean, we MUST kiss his ass!

The people I refer to were full of hope and praise for the man and the day, and I carried that feeling for the rest of the morning.

Then they, and you, were just caught up in the emotion of the day. It was a very good day to be an American. A day to be proud of a peaceful transition of power. A day full of images on TV of Washington and happy Americans waving flags.

You, and they, got caught up in the emotion of being 'American' and the focus of all that emotion was Obama. The focus isn't supposed to be the man - but it ends up being it. Your patriotic emotion was transferred to him since he became the focus of the day's activities.

It's psychological. Not cerebral.

He's still the same nobody, done nothing, from corrupt-Chicago politics.
He's still the same guy that hangs with terrorists (Auchi and Ayers).
He's still the same liar.
He's still the same racist that hung with Rev. Wright for 20 years.
He's still the same husband of the racist Michelle Obama.
He's still the same flip flopping mess.
He's still the same tool of the Bildebergers.
He's still the same guy that wants to take away your guns.
He's still the same guy that wants 'redistribution of wealth'.
He's still the same guy that wants to impose a world poverty tax on you.
He's still the same snob that says you cling to guns and religion.
He's still the same guy who refuses to release his REAL birth certificate.
He's still the same guy who screwed around with Kenyan politics.
He's still the same guy flipped off Hillary during the campaign.
He's still the same guy that plans to make bloody FOCA his first duty.
He's still the same guy that wants to kill NASA programs to pay for others.
He's still the same guy that promised to disarm America's defenses.
Etc etc

He's still the same. Once the buzz from the day's festivities fades away and you, and they, can remember who this guy his, then it will all come crashing back and ya'll will definately need some asprin because you'll have one hell of a hangover from the 'inauguration high'.

Clinton may not have suffered a booing, but he certainly got raked over the coals for months in the most public fashion ever. I never thought the news was going to stop talking about it.

It was the same speech as George Bush's... he didnt mention any change he repeated the same song Bush had for the last 8 years. But because it was Obama saying the words everyone ate it up! Im glad Jon Stewart caught that, it had ridiculous parallels.

Oh, and at John McCains speech he wished Obama good luck and the whole audience booed! It looks more like the democrats just got revenge to me..?

As the saying goes "My friend is the enemy of my enemy".
I am amusing myself at filling those little friend and foe colums through this thread!

A line has been drawn in the sand.
On one side there are lucid people, builders who collaborate(we all have are specific talents)and produce. The others are pshycopaths. Easy, claro.

I attended the Welcome Home Ceremony in Midland, Texas last night. The former President and First Lady said their goodbyes and thanked their supporters. And you want to know something funny? When Bush talked about Obama, he asked the audience to pray for him...and there were no boo's. So, I guess the former President has more class than those who hate him. Boo if you want, but history may allow George to have the last laugh.

I may not agree with everything he's done while in office, but hindsight is 20/20. I think that those who have been waiting for their messiah to fix the country, don't realize that WE are the country...and from what I've seen and heard, there may be no fixing US.

Class is a construct of those in charge to keep their friends close and everybody else beneath them.

What was really lacking here was manners.

Personally I couldn't care less if they boo'd G.W.Bush, I didn't notice it and if I had I'd dutifully ignore it. I'll remember that day for the historic day it was.
I don't know whether Obama and his administration will do anything for America or the world at this time, but I cannot imagine any other predominantly caucasian nation electing a minority head of state.
Certainly not in the UK where I am.

I look forward to seeing his next moves. I'm sure I share my feelings with everybody else in the democratic world when I say I hope he comes up on even a third of his promises to rebuild America and its foreign relations.

You feel a need to divide, I see. That speaks badly of the soul within you. Energy misdirected is dark energy.

Wasn't yesterday supposed to be a unifying day in history? Wasn't yesterday a day where we were all supposed to get along and come together as Americans? Weren't we supposed to set aside our politics and rally around our new President with "hope" for "change"?

I guess it turns out liberals are the hateful divisive ones after all.

How shocking....

I am for the first time since about 2002 not embarrassed to be an American. As far as I'm concerned, Bush, Cheney and that whole bunch should spend the rest of their lives in one jail or another.

But I agree that the booing was out of place and inappropriate for the occasion.

While I have no respect for the people implementing our government recently, based on their actions, I do have tremendous respect for the office. And this occasion was a celebration of the office, and the peaceful transition of that office between people of dramatically different quality.

Members of the Bush Administration deserve more than a big BOO. But the time and place was inappropriate.

You guys must continue to fool yourself to justify your burning hatred for this man. President Bush has no authority on his own. Congress was right along with him and has an even lower approval rating, yet nobody is booing them. Thats because the media is compromised of democrats.

Get a grip, Bush and Cheney aren't the evil super villains you've made them out to be in your head.

No doubt, you all sheepishly follow what your media tells you to do. Its funny that EVERY American Republican gets this treatment both by the world and it own democrats. President Regan got the same treatment from you people. The only way a Republican could ever please you is to became a left winger like yourself. At some point you people need to realize that not everyone sees the world the way you do.

Thanks for posting!! I expressed similar sentiments in another Inauguration thread.

The booing and jeers was definitely a low brow moment for America. Even Chris Matthews thought it was in bad taste. This is what our country has become. This is what the MSM has created over the past several years.

Yes, the dumbing down of America for the whole world to see. These maroons couldn't hold back for a mere couple of hours and instead just chose to let the Diarrhea flow.

Great way to tarnish a great moment in modern American History by embarrassing this country.

Please save your canned and predictable Bush responses for someone else. He is no longer in office. Prepare yourselves for 4 years of pain and suffering under Obama. If you think Bush infringed on your rights, you're in for a big surprise and an even bigger government with a new face attached to it.

Just my 2 cents, i don't care if he was booed because he doesn't care what the American people think of him... right?

To say something like that and then expect not to be booed is idiotic.

He don't care about us and we don't care about him, nuff said...

As far as class goes, iv'e heard to many comments by the right ringers to pay attention to their crying now.

There were enough tears shed during the inaugeration to turn the sprinklers off for a week. The Buck stops here?

Over a $160 Million was spent on this 'Party' though it's not 1999.

This is 4 times more than any other President in history!

Does this mean 4 times the results or is the US going broke 4 times faster?

Is this part of the new cost cutting/budgeting paradigm we've heard so much about?

I wish Obama the best of luck. He was dealt a pair of duces and somehow is expected to pull a full house.

I don't believe there's enough cards in the deck.

Over $700 Trillion in bad derivative bets, credit default swaps, collaterized debt obligations not yet 'accounted' for from banks the world over.

Sorry folks, parties over. Now its time to pay the Pipers.

NWO folk could care less how nice the fellow is.

The deck is rigged in their favor, always has been; they see 'to' it.

A whole lot of courage is needed from here forward.

End the Federal Reserve and retrieve the Trillions of 'ill gotten gains'.

This is the only solution.

I'm hoping that was what the new "Declaration of Independence" he spoke of was all about.

Well see soon enough.

Save the Kleenex.

Many, many more tears to come.

Wait so, smart and justifiably angry Americans booed the worst president and terrorist in the history of the earth, who killed hundreds of thousands of people and led to the collapse of the U.S. and the global economy and you think that it was a "lack of class"? HAHAHA.....how much is Cheney paying you, pal?
