Seeing through the Blatant sucking up of the OP , I can but echo the sentiments!
I have not once encountered a she member without having a pleasant experience. They are all fun, smart, compassionate and forgiving!

I credit Givenmay and AD for actually pulling me out of my shell (unbeknowest to them of course) because I saw how well they were treated around the boards and that being a girl didn't make a difference.

I saw the way AD went around the boards with her high confidence and figured that if she could do it, so could I. Then I started in with the girly avi's (just for Ian) and the picture posting.

Hon, you took my breath away when I read that.Anyone who has been around here long enough knows what I went through to get to this point of having confidence. Won't go into details, but I'll say this...
It was the encouragement of this site and all my friends here that brought me out of not only my shell, but the hole I was buried in. I value my friendships here more-so than any single person I ever met in real life before I came here.We really are family here.We share each others highs and lows..and every single day prove that distance means little in a true friendship. There are great people here that without ATS I would never have had the pleasure of speaking to.

Ah geez...now I'm getting all mushy.

have been on the b.day dinner of my SIL and i am shocked how horribel some guys treat girls. no real appriciation, just poking fun, - my SIL turned 50, got some problems with that number although she looks like 35, and no respect not to mention it.
as if age gender or appearance are the only facts that count in life!

this is why i love ats, i am not judged by my gender, age, outer appereance or nationality, just by my thoughts and contribution.
