Oh for Christ's sake, can you (and whoever starred your post) read??? No one is getting riled up about Palin complaining that the media is "stifling" her.

Oh, never mind. If you haven't gotten it after 3 pages, you're not likely to pick it up now.

Yes, we "lefties" are all just beside ourselves because Palin said the media is stifling her...

she has the right to say what she wants but in return they have the right to say whatever they want to , no matter what the deal is. the reporters are probably right because mccain and palin have been making obama look like a bad man when in reality he isn't. obama hasnt made any remarks like his. in the debates mccain made personal attacks against him. that makes mccain and palin look bad.

On the contrary, every time Palin has something to say, the lefties on this board make it a point to dissect what she said and do their to discredit her.

Another fact is, you neglected to address the point I was making about the Fairness Doctrine. Apparently you guys are all up for that as it would kill of AM talk radio, but you would also just assume that Sarah Palin just stop talking, right?

So here's the new liberal motto on the first amendment - "It's a free country so say what you want, as long as it isn't about us."

That's because she never says anything that makes sense. When the media asks her a question that she can't answer, it's the "drive-by media". But when it happens to Obama, he's a Muslim terrorist.

I'm tired of the whining. I've never complained about tough questions asked towards Obama - only the blatant lies told about him. There is a big difference between lying and laughing at a stupid answer.

It is obvious that the usa media is in the tank for Obama.

Palin has plenty to worry about the liberal media steering the sheeple into voting for man who was born in Keyna and is a muslim, and a socialist who hangs out with PLO leader and other terrorists like Ayers.

...talk about scary, this is disasterous.

Once again someone on the right proves that they are masters of projection. Blame the left by claiming that the left does all the things that they do.

Then she obviously doesn't know what freedom of speech is all about.... more proof that she is totally unprepared to run the country if McCain became incapatated.

I heard the interview live on the Chris Plante show, and there was nothing wrong with what she said. As an example, the MSM is currently attempting to oppress Free Speech by labeling any criticism of Obama as "Hate Speech", and labeling those behind them as "Racists". Look at all of the proof behind Senator Obama actually being a Socialist, YET, if you level such claims at him you are considered a "Racist". If you attempt to question Senator Obama's connections, you are labeled a "Racist". If you attempt to question Senator Obama's Policies, you are labeled a "Racist". These are completely foundless labels, yet they are used with the pure and intended purpose of oppressing Free Speech.

Here is the exact quote:

Chris Plante: .....Is the News Media doing it's job? Are you getting a fair shake, the Republicans getting a fair shake this year?

Palin: I don't think that they're doing their job, when they suggest that calling a candidate out on their record, their plans for this country, and their associations, is mean spirited or negative campaigning. If they convince enough voters that, that is negative campaigning for me to call Barack Obama out on his associations, then I don't know what the future of our country would be in terms of First Amendment Rights, and our ability to ask questions without fear of attacks by the Mainstream Media. Look at Joe the Plumber, good ole' Joe the Plumber in Toledo, Ohio, he just asked a simple straightforward question, and the Media started investigating and attacking HIM. So there is some fear there, in those terms, no I don't think that they've been doing their job in that kind of context.

So you're saying it's untrue? Prove me wrong on the Fairness Doctrine, then and why the Democrats would want to bring it back.

There is nothing wrong with the fairness doctrine you guys just don't want anyone to hear a balanced approach... if they did they might quickly realize what a bunch of blowhards the right is.

Joe is getting investigated because he is a fraud and will not stay out of the spotlight. It was so refreshing to hear his umpteenth interview with a fox personality as he told hannity how much he hated the spotlight and did not seek it out. Shame, they never got to talk about his publicist and seeking a record deal. Of course they did not cover his credentials or legitimacy either, since discussing this mans real life would be bad for business. If he does not want to be smeared, he needs to stop his publicist from booking him on interviews and stop seeking a record deal.

It has nothing to do with Obama and everything to do with the fact that this lying fake plumber is good business for the news business.

'Nothing wrong with it', and yet you support the First Amendment? That is the summit of all hypocrisies. You cannot support a forced, speech related compliance which inhibits views, and still be in support of our First Amendment Rights. What is there preventing opposing views from buying up slots in Radio Broadcasting? It is a completely free market which we have, and FCC licenses currently have no Political Restrictions placed upon them; so there is plenty of room for opposing views as is, without a Government mandate. The only reason that the liberally opinionated within America want forced Government Compliance, is that Liberal Talk-Show hosts have never succeeded in catching an audience within the Radio Market.

Your statement truly shows how ignorant you are of the business world. "Joe the Plumber" IS an actual Plumber, and as it might come as a shock to someone such as yourself, you do not need a personal license for such employment if your Employer holds one. This is common practice ALL OVER the United States, and common knowledge amongst those with Business knowledge and experience. That is like declaring that an Auto Mechanic is a "Fake" just because he lacks an ASE Certification.

As for the interviews and such, the Media still has no right to smear the guy for speaking a logically inspired view. Much of the media failed to even condemn Bill Ayers, someone who actually took part in acts of treason against this Nation, yet they find the time to attempt a character assassination against a hard working American. The Media has truly become Elitist, wherein the Average American who does not have an Ivy League Education or a Masters Degree, is considered nothing more than a nuisance.

Even if Joe Wurzelbacher's Politics are not yours, give the guy a break already, he is one of us simply speaking his opinions, and making his honest views known.

Does anyone else get tired of reading posts by people that have been members on here for long enough to understand the game? I have read enough posts about the true puppet masters and how they run everything behind the scenes. Aren't McCain and Obama members of the CFR? Are either one really offering something new or unheard of, NO. But we spend all day repeating all the blather on MSM, which in another post you can find out the MSM are all owned by the same people, plus all of the newspapers. So maybe for the last 2 years we have been watching a well planned diversion, that everyone on ATS should see through unless your new here. Either that or you just don't believe anything on this site. Every person should research the history of the Rothchilds and how they control everything or have a hand in it. What good is the knowledge of the games that are played, if you don't really care.

700 billion, 700 billion, 700 billion, 700 billion, financial crisis, financial crisis, financial crisis, terrorist, terrorist home grow terrorist, water crisis, fire crisis, oil crisis, iraq crisis, afganistan crisis, iran crisis, blah, blah, blah

Palin is a complete distraction, she has done nothing but ad fuel to the fire to keep people of their guard.

It used to be law before Reagan killed it that if a political view was aired then the station airing it was required to provide equal time and our society seemed to work well then.

I would like to see us go back to that.... opposing that is merely to support continued ignorance of the voting populous.

He is not one of "us." Because I would not wrap my life around seeking every media outlet I can just to complain about how I wish the media would leave me alone. I am sorry but I am just not that kind of hypocrite.

He is a fake and a liar for so many reasons, I never even said anything about the liscence did I? So take that argument and put it back at the ready, where it belongs.

Speaking of Bill Ayers....

Turns out that Joe Wurzelbacher from the Toledo event is a close relative of Robert Wurzelbacher of Milford, Ohio. Who’s Robert Wurzelbacher? Only Charles Keating’s son-in-law and the former senior vice president of American Continental, the parent company of the infamous Lincoln Savings and Loan. The now retired elder Wurzelbacher is also a major contributor to Republican causes giving well over $10,000 in the last few years.

It is amazing who people are tied to these days isn't it?

Joe Wurzelbacher, better known as Joe the Plumber, the nickname Republican John McCain bestowed on him during Wednesday's presidential debate, said he works for a small plumbing company that does residential work. Because he works for someone else, he doesn't need a license, he said.

His boss, Al Newell of Newell Plumbing and Heating Co. of Toledo, is a licensed plumbing contractor in Toledo, records show. But anyone working under Newell should have a journeyman’s plumbing license or an apprenticeship license, officials said.

Hopefully he is better at plumbing than talking politics. Anyone who says the election of Obama will be the end of Israel shouldn't be taken seriously.
