Yeah, Obama will be tested. This seems like a scenario that is most likely because of the current world situation. McCain, too, would be tested. What if McCain was elected and had a heart attack and died on January 23rd. Sure, Palin would be tested. What if Obama is assasinated on Inaugural day? Biden would be tested. No matter who we elect will be tested. This is just the way of the world now. The U.S. is in the spotlight and is on the hotplate. No matter who is elected, this will be an interesting time in the history of not just the U.S of A. but the world. But for Biden to say we will not like the decisions Obama will make and that we should support him even though we don't agree, make me wonder if he knows something we don't.

I don't put much stock into what he says because he already commented on Roosevelt being on television. It's obvious he's not very good at speaking off the cuff. I am sure many of you laughed when he made that gaff, and probably refused to take him seriously. Now suddenly he tries to make another badly worded point that back fires and suddenly he's the most serious speaker ever.

No doubt, like a toddler testing what can get away with before it's parents admonish it, other countries and groups within the US itself will test whomever the next President is. They're going to provoke until they get a response, gauge it and then provoke some more to get a feel of what they can and can't get away with.

A - Obama has aligned himself with anti-Israel advocates, ex-US Government Bombers and other Radicals, some are Muslim. He wants to pull the troops out of the “not so big” country of Iran. Obama has also talked about getting rid of nuclear weapons worldwide including here and in Israel. Jesse Jackson tells us to prepare for a new America and the most important change would occur in the Middle East, where “decades of putting Israel’s interests first” would end to people in France.

B – Joe Biden tells people in, what he thought was, a private fundraiser to prepare for the world to test the new president Obama in the first 6 months of office. He goes on to say that “And he’s gonna have to make some really tough – I don’t know what the decision’s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur.” And then asking for the help of the audience says “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you, not financially to help him, we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Becaues it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.” He even points out where the conflicts may arise “They may emanate from the Middle East. They may emanate from the sub-continent. They may emanate from Russia’s newly-emboldened position because they’re floating in a sea of oil”


Soooooo Adding 2+2… Obama has a plan to pull troops out, allow the Radical Muslims to rise up in the Middle East allowing attack on Israel and Joe Biden doesn’t know what Obama’s plan is when military action will be taken. Isn’t Joe Biden supposed to be the one on the ticket with military experience? Hmmmmmm Since Obama is surrounded with anti-Israel advocates, I’m thinking he will let it burn. I’m also thinking that Joe Biden knows this and is a little scared. If Biden’s gaffe wasn’t so important then Obama wouldn’t have put down his ticket partner like he did.

All presidents face an international test or two within their first 100 days, its like predicting a hollywood starlet will have a run in with the law. It don't mean a thing.

If it's so important then why have none of you contacted your political representatives or media to demand an explanation of their comments?

Colin Powell isn't a stupid man, he is a military and political professional and he knows that his speech must be measured. Remember he advised Bush against going into Iraq.

So why make the statement? My point is, I'm not American and this frightened the proverbial out of me he said whatever happens it will change how the U.S. is viewed by the rest of the world.

There's no hope for the U.S. if all you can do is discuss the topic and whys and wherefores. Are you so helpless?

While you are posting here, send an email asking them to qualify their speech. It's no use sitting on your tush posting to a forum. Get out there! Apathy is a killer and your all proof of that.

Not one poster has said they contacted anyone who they could (and have a right to) demand an explanation from.

If enough of you do it, they can't ignore it. You're not the land of the free if you willingly give that freedom away and America's enemies laugh while a great nation falls. Do you really want that?
