Without looking at the replys, I would hazard a guess and say Tony Blair although my info might be out of date.

Ok.
Here goes.
This thread is not intended to bash American's at all.
I myself am half-American from my dad's side and I have great respect for the country and it's ways.
However, what I'm trying to get at, and I think I have proved in this thread to a certain extent, is that you guys need to touch up on your knowledge of the rest of the world around you.
You guys have effectively become 'The World Police', but there's one problem: You guys know almost nothing about the world your policing.
I read somewhere once, that 90% of American's don't even own a passport.
This was just the point I'm trying to get across.

Discuss if you wish.

I live in Canada so I won't give an answer, but can you clarify the question a bit ?

You asked who is the Prime Minister of England.
Shouldn't that be U.K. ???

I don't police the world... the government of the country I live in does.

Oh I'm not directing this at anyone in particular, or blaming anyone, I'm just making an observation. As an American though, I still believe it's your responsibility to try and make an impact on your country and try changing things that you don't believe are just.

Actually that can be tricky even for an English person, because there is no English Priminister but a British priminster unless the answer is wrong.
So you could have fooled your own British public with that one.

The answer is Gordon Brown - Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Sorry, I guess my question was a little misleading.
I hope that this does not detract from the point that I was trying to make though.

I love the UK. Wish I could live there. lol

Gordon Brown is PM right now. I wish that George Galloway was PM instead. Wouldn't that be a hoot? I love the way he verbally bashes people, but in a polite way.

Let's see... I always check out what's going on with Gardeners' World... I like BBC news... the UK always has the best TV shows out there, much better than the crap they show in N America. I read the Daily Mail every day. hehehe

something similar happened in the USA not too long ago. When JFK. got shot, Vice President LBJ. took over the driving seat until the previous incumbents term of office expired. Although Blair wasn't shot (if only) he stood down in favour of his No.2 (pun intended). Though some would say he saw what was coming and decided to jump ship before the sh*+ hit the fan:cheer_javascript:icon('')
