Tundra wolves also take down caribou or reindeer depending on which hemisphere your in. And who said anything about tossing your elk in a car? If you have a small group, or your solo, your camp can move close to where you took it down at. Food for a long time, mate.

If you have a small group, you can make a lot of fun by hunting with ordinary shovels by making pits.

you are so very right...if yo have the money for a good .223 rifle, then you need the sense to budget $300 for a mossberg pump to seal the deal on that deer

Seeing as how I own a mini-14 and have fired all of the others, I'm gonna say - NONE OF THE ABOVE.
